Chapter 28: Finale

Third Person View

Bloods were splattered everywhere. Screams of agony and bravery are heard throughout the field filled with students and warriors alike. Swords swinging everywhere, elements being thrown from both sides hitting enemies and allies alike and above them all, dragons, elemental dragons and horses were fighting to defend what is theirs and to conquer a territory they want.

Above them all, gods and powerful elementals alike are fighting for their lives. This could be their last fight and they gave it their all.

The moon was at it's highest peak and so the war shook all of the dimension as both side's powers increased. Their hands flinging from side to side and front to back constantly trying to defend their allies and trying to fight for their lives.

"When the time is right, I will rise once more." A voice whispered nonetheless, heard throughout the battlefield. "Once the moon struck onto it's highest peak, a Queen will rise and fall. Many will perish but a sacrifice will save them all." The book of prophecies rose as it chanted these words. Every prophecy can be changed but only by a force so powerful, called love.

"Nako watch out! Behind you!" A scream was heard from Yena as she blocked a sword from Nako and going through her heart. Seeing this, Nako blasted the culprit miles away from them and ran to catch her Unnie before she fell onto the ground. A loud cry was heard from Yuri as she too held Eunbi in her arms with blood seeping out of her stomach and legs with a burnt arm. One by one, the royals fell and so did the students. Hitomi, Eunbi, Yena, Yujin and Minju were all severely injured while the others tend to their wounds. Healers were brought to them so that they could heal faster to fight but it was no use.

One by one, student left and right fell as more and more creatures of the dark emerged from the forest and amongst them all is a figure. A dark figure in a throne. He smiled sinisterly at the sight in front of him.

A cage beside him was covered with a red cloth as the creatures carrying him was going towards the center of the battle field. More students and warriors died and at last, the battle was finished with darkness succeeding in their quest to conquer.

But alas, a blinding light shone onto the whole place as if an angel descended and opened the gates of heaven. Gasps and whispers were heard throughout the whole place as they saw a person they believed died. "C-chaewon..." Minju stuttered as blood came out of her mouth and as her last words, "I love you...", she whipered as she took her last breath.

Nako, Wonyoung, Yuri, Hyewon, Chaeyeon and Sakura all panicked as 5 of their friends' pulse stopped along with their breaths. They cried and screamed for them to wake up, to fight and to live but all 5 fell asleep into the slumber of death.

"Hm, this was easier than I though?" A dark voice echoed through the battlefield. The light has lost, until a voice. "Light will always succeed. No matter the cost. Fortis."

A bright light surrounded the place making everything disappear, the wounded was healed and those who have slept in the slumber of death has awoken. Along with all the darkness that disappeared was the fading white light and their princess. Chaewon.

Minju stood and tried to catch her beloved before she disappears again but it was too late. She already did. "Chaewon..."

-Years Passed-

Mortal Realm

A girl with medium length brown hair was walking down the street when suddenly a force slammed onto her side. She expected she would have died but, even with the strong force of a truck, she was standing and unschathed.

Whilst amongst the shadows, 2 figures were watching the scene. "We found the target. I repeat we found the target."

"Take her."

"Chaewon, I finally found you. I'm never letting you go again."

Hi! So Nicz here. It's been a while. I took a break for those who doesn't know why I was away for so long. The reason also was because I don't have a phone. So making a chapter without one is hard.

Anyways. This is the end of Dryxmar. I don't know about book 2 since I'm busy with school and my server. The Discord server is fun!
