The wind swept my hair in-front of my eye as we reached the top of the astronomy tower. I could see a 180° view of the Hogwarts grounds, even deep into the forbidden forest. Adrian stood in-front of me tucking my wild hair behind my ears so I could see again. My eyes darting around taking in the beauty of being so high up. Adrians thumb brushed across my cheek sending chills up my spine. I felt safe.

"I can't believe you've never been here before!" Adrian stated. He led me over to the edge of the tower, I leaned over the railing feeling the wind against my cheeks, the air felt pure. It was quite up here. He spread his jacket out flat on the floor next to where we were standing, I gazed down and Adrian patted the spot on his jacket next to him. We sat for a moment just taking in the view.

Adrian broke the silence and started rambling on about himself, he had 3 older pure blood brothers who had came to Hogwarts before us, and they were all outstanding quidditch players, his owl is a barn owl named Citrus and his dream is to make it into the quidditch world cup, he would be the first in his family. The thought of being friends with a world famous quidditch player sounded good to me.

Then he asked about me. I swallowed hard not knowing what to really tell him, the only one who really knew about where I came from was Draco. I started by telling him I was also a pure blood, from a very wealthy family which is why I didn't have to share a dorm with anyone. I didn't have an owl but I did bring my pet rat named Hades. The only other student to bring a pet rat was the ginger kid from potions class. Adrian seemed to find me very intriguing, but suspicion grew on his face as I went on. He knew I was hiding things from him.

"What're you not telling me?" Adrian finally asked.

Over the next half hour I went on to tell him I wasn't really from the magic world, I was truly stuck, living with muggles until I found a way to come back.

When I was just a baby, the man himself Professor Dumbledore deemed the magical world no longer safe. A dark wizard had just killed two parents and attempted to kill their new baby boy, and because of this it was decided that a mass obliviate spell would be cast, in order to try keep witches and wizards hidden from The Dark Lord. The spell that was cast hadn't worked fully, leaving some wizards and witches completely lost, with no inkling that they were magical, meaning they had to go and live in the muggle world, unless they found their way back.

My family was included.

I grew up like a complete muggle, not even aware of my powers until I turned 11, at that time I noticed owls flying above my head and people in mysterious robes around the streets.

The books I had grown up on were true. Well, not exactly all true. A woman had wrote about the wizarding world, to expose it after the obliviate spell was cast. She was a witch who was associated with the The Dark Lord and had her wand snapped. She went on and wrote a book series about a crazy life for The Boy Who Lived, however it wasn't true, the life the boy had now was the same as all the witches and wizards at Hogwarts. Normal. The author did know about some of the big wizarding families, who she included in her books. Some speculate that she had a crystal ball from Borgin and Burks which allowed her to see small glimpses into the future, which is how she knew Draco Malfoy would be born, along with many other students names which featured. Never the less the magical world was real, Diagon Alley, Platform 9 3/4 and Hogwarts were all real. Muggles didn't realise that though.

After I had noticed that my powers were developing, I got into researching about what happened, it was hard to discover, since the spell went wrong it was a big scandal which the ministry tried their best to hide it. Even though the wizarding world had been exposed through a book, muggles didn't seem to question nor investigate, even though magic is all around them.

My family still don't realise who they truly are, oblivious to their own powers. The name Lopez comes from a long strenuous line of witches and wizards all very wealthy and respected here. The wizarding world know that they are currently living as muggles in the city of London however the ministries law obstructs anyone from informing them of who they truly are. It risks more exposure. Unless they find their way back on their own, they're stuck.

"You know that's truly magical, that you found your way back" Adrian comforted me, as I grew upset. Thinking about it and thinking about my family.
"What's it like? The muggle world..." He asked.

"They live in cities you'll never see onscreen, not very pretty, but they sure know how to run things." I went on. Adrian comforted me by wrapping his arm around my shoulder, even though i'd met him a couple hours earlier he felt safe and warm. My intuition told me I could trust him. He told me he had heard a tale when he was younger about the obliviate spell, but he never knew if it was true or not, some thought it was just an old witches tale.

We spent time talking about much more lighter topics while the day was quickly turning into evening, we had missed Sunday lunch in The Great Hall.
"Shall I send Citrus to get us some food?" Adrian asked. I nodded and smiled gazing into his brown eyes, his hair blowing gently in the wind. For a moment I completely forgot where I was.

Citrus returned with left over food from the Sunday roast. We set the food up as a little picnic in-front of us and watched as the stars began to emerge. I taught Adrian about the planets and we figured out he was a Leo.

"Ay Pucey, you've got quidditch practice in the morning! Better go get your beauty sleep!" Draco's voice boomed spitefully.
We both flinched and shot our heads over towards the top of the stairs. Draco was stood there in his black sweat pants and skin tight black top staring into Puceys eyes.

Adrian turned to me and whispered "I'll see you tomorrow."

Adrian left making the trip back down the staircase and Draco walked straight over to me at the edge of the tower while I went back to gazing at the stars. I didn't want to give Draco any of my attention. I felt his presence sit down next to me exactly where Adrian had been sitting. His smell of cologne was strong yet erotic. After moments of not saying anything I glanced over at him. His black shirt was hugging his abs, his arms resting in his lap effortlessly and his jawline prominent and sharp as he stares up at the sky.

"Jade..." Draco starts to say. I turn my body towards him ready to hear what he has to say.
"What Draco!" I snap, ready for an argument.
"Jade..." He mumbled again hanging his head, if there was one thing about Draco he wasn't good at speaking about his feelings.
"You don't get to speak to me the way you did!"
"Jade, my father wrote to me Saturday night. He wants to meet you." Draco spoke lowly. I stopped.
"Why?" I asked concerned.
"You're the first Lopez back in the wizarding world, he found out you're back" Draco said.
"Are you sure you want this? There's no going back after this." I ask him, scared of the answer.

The Malfoy family were a big deal, our families go back a long time and not in a good way. The Malfoy's and Lopez's once had a deal and since I was the first one back i'm sure Mr Malfoy wanted to speak about the deal.

"I want you Jade. I'll write back to say we will visit the manor soon, I'll be here to protect you, always" Draco said huskily and reached out for my hand.

"I brought beer" Draco smiled cracking open two bottles.

We drank our worries away.
