authors note: hi I'm not dead! it's been a while but I was really sick this week. I'm fine now so I'm back :)) enjoy a new, much needed, chapter.

It's been two weeks since we came back from Christmas break and Draco hasn't spoken to me at all. Any minor inconvenience that he is faced with his best solution is to just ignore it. He is most likely mad at me for kicking Pansy out but honestly, I don't care, there was no way I was letting her stay at my house. I feel a little bad because I basically made him choose between his girlfriend and his best friends but it is not my fault he made the wrong choice.

On the bright side I have been hanging out with Noah Berlinson, the boy I met at the gala. We go to the library together a lot, since he is in Ravenclaw he is very smart. I have found that I enjoy watching him do his homework, he looks cute when he concentrates. I have also found that I moved on, Draco is never going to love me no matter what Narcissa said, she's wrong.

Now I'm focusing my romantic energy on Noah. He's mildly attractive and he is really sweet. Also, he was at the gala my family was hosting so they must already know his family.

Today the two of us were reading books in the back of the library, well he was reading and I was just looking at him. I lied before he is much more than mildly attractive, I can't believe I never noticed him around school before. He was tall, taller than Draco, and had brown curly hair. He has golden brown eyes, freckles, and a sharp jawline that could cut you if he clenched the muscle hard enough. Noah was also on the quidditch team, Ravenclaw's keeper, so he has a broad keeper's build. Despite all that, the only thing I can think about right now is his perfect pink lips. I know I've only known him for a few weeks but is it bad that I really want to kiss those lips.

"You think I don't notice you watching me but I do. You haven't turned the page in your book for the past half hour." He looked up from his homework and smiled at me.

I shook my head at him and started to say, "I can't help it, you may not have noticed but you're very attr-" I was interrupted by Blaise and Theo bursting through the library doors and rushing over to me.

When they got to me Blaise pulled me out of my seat and Theo packed up my things for me. Noah stared at my friends, so I sent him an apologetic look and mouthed the word sorry before I was out of his eye line. I felt bad because he was probably so confused but it was normal for me, they do this at least twice a week.

"Alright, what is it? What is so important that you had to aggressively pull me away from Noah like that?" I asked, stopping in the middle of the hallway to stare at them and wait for my answer.

"What are you doing?" Theo asked.

"Sorry?"

Blaise cocked his head at me like he thought I was faking the confusion. "With him. What are you doing with him? I thought you were helplessly in love with our dear friend Draco."

I rolled my eyes and scoffed at both of them. "First of all, I am not helplessly in love with Draco and second he is dating Pansy so what is the difference. You both saw him on New Years', he left. End of story."

"But-"

"No! I'm tired of waiting around for him, it's never gonna happen. He's not even talking to me right now so whatever I'm done. When he decides he wants to be friends again let me know but until then I don't care about anything you say if it has to do with Draco. Do you understand?"

They both just stared at me like they wanted to say something else.

"Do you understand me?"

"Yes," they grumbled.
