authors note: I changed the cover, I like this one better. Also I know you might not be able to read the names above the snake but essentially they say names of the characters; Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott, Draco Malfoy, Evangeline Palazzo. I hope you like it :)

I woke up the next morning on a mission to find and apologize to Noah. He's not the type to really get mad about things for longer than a few minutes but I still felt the need to apologize to him, most people wouldn't have just run off as I did. I even made sure to get up extra early knowing he wakes up before the sun rises, just so I could look for him.

I looked for about an hour, even knocking on Ravenclaw's painting. Luna answered and told me that she had no idea who Noah was, bless her heart. So, defeated, I was ready to head back down to the dungeons when I remembered the astronomy tower. I practically ran all the way there, I wasn't really sure why that was not the first place I looked seeing as that was the place we usually hung out in.

"Oh thank god," I said a little out of breath. Noah was leaning against the railing like he usually is whenever I would meet him up here. "I have been looking everywhere for you."

He turned around and smiled at me, "I noticed."

I laughed a little at his joke before we fell into silence. Even though I had planned to do this since last night I wasn't exactly sure what to say. How do you apologize for lying to someone about something like that?

"I'm sorry." I heard it but it didn't come out of my mouth. Why is he apologizing? I thought.

I looked at him with confusion on my face before asking, "Why are you sorry?"

"For last night," he looked sheepishly at his feet and put his hands in his dress pants pockets, "It was my first time and I didn't want you to know."

I gaped at him for a little before quickly shutting my mouth and finding something to say next. "I don't know what to say about that," I said slowly. "I was coming here to apologize to you."

"What are you sorry for?" His eyebrows creased on his forehead.

I shrugged and explained, "For leaving right after, I guess, and making that dumb excuse about the puzzle."

"You lied about the puzzle?"

I laughed and replied, "Well yeah but then I ended up actually doing a puzzle which is just a whole other story."

Noah looked at me confused before shaking his head and deciding not to ask about it. Instead, he asked, "So then why did you leave?"

"I don't know. I think maybe because it was just a lot and I wasn't really prepared." I blushed, embarrassed to say it out loud.

He sighed and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a hug. "Yeah me too. Let's not do it again." I nodded and he pulled away to take my hand. We walked down the steps to the tower and through the halls to get breakfast.

When we got to the entrance I noticed the boys sitting at the Slytherin table almost completely alone, albeit a few students further down the benches. I assumed it was still pretty early and went to reach for Noah's arm.

"What are you doing?" he laughed.

I frowned when I realized he wasn't wearing a watch, the people I hang out with usually wear watches. "Nothing, you're not wearing a watch. I wanted to check the time."

"Oh," he shrugged and tried to loosen his grip on my hand, I only squeezed harder.

"Sit with me today," I smiled at the wary look on his face, "Oh come on there's barely anybody there and you can get to know Draco. He's the only one of my friends you haven't talked to yet."
