"It's a yes from my side." I declared. My mom broke into a big smile upon hearing this. She got up from her seat and hugged me. Next, Jai and Dad gave me a bear hug.
The Reynolds left after having an early dinner with us and now it was just the four of us in the living room.
"But Di, you'd have to shift to Philadelphia." Jai said and I nodded my head. "I know."
"What about your bakery?" Dad questioned and I shrugged my shoulders.
"I'll maybe work as a chef at some bakery there for sometime and once I earn enough money I'll buy myself a new bakery there. I'll sign my current bakery to Riya. She has been a great help to me so far and is very involved in it too, so why not." I said referring to my cousin, Riya.
Although it was I who started the bakery, it wouldn't have been possible to run it without her. There's no one better than her for the job of running it once I leave.
"But Kiara..." Dad was about to ask another question but mom interrupted him.
"Hush with the questions. She has made up her mind. Don't get her all confused now." Mom said and Dad nodded his head.
"What made you change your mind, Di? You were so against going to another county before meeting them." Jai questioned and I unknowingly smiled.
"A cup of tea."

"So what do you both think about Kiara?" Savannah asked as soon as I finished attending my final business conference for today. We were currently sitting in the living area. Our hotel room consists of the whole of the top floor. The elevator opens to the living area and the joined kitchen. We have three rooms on the floor, accommodating each one of us.
"I liked her a lot. She's independent, she's well mannered and she fits the description of my daughter-in-law." Mom said and we turned towards Savannah to hear her opinion.
"I loved her. I think she's the one. She's very polite, a bit shy I think but that's not bad at all and she is an excellent cook-slash-baker." Savannah completed and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"How'd you know that last one?" I asked and Savannah rolled her eyes.
"She owns her own bakery." Mom said in a 'duh' voice.
"You know how I'm allergic to apples? The fruit-custard contained apples and so I didn't eat mine. She noticed it and when I went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water after finishing dinner, she offered me an almond-pecan brownie she made and it literally melted in my mouth. I ended up having about 3 more pieces of it. Also, the cottage cheese curry you loved was made by her." Savannah said and I nodded my head, surprised.
"Wow. I didn't know that." I said.
"What'd you talk about when you guys were out in the garden?" Mom asked.
"Nothing too intense. Just causal talk. About things we'd like each other to know about ourselves." I replied.
"What'd you think of her?" Savannah questioned again and I shrugged my shoulders.
"You know I did my research on her and I know she's absolutely worth being my wife but I was pleasantly surprised when I actually talked to her. She's smart, bubbly, ever smiling, funny and a lot more. I genuinely enjoyed talking to her and being in her company." I said and Savannah smirked at me.
"Looks like somebody has a crush on someone." She teased and I rolled my eyes.
"Oh, come on!" I said fighting a small smile that threatened to break on my lips.
"You know, you've started liking her ever since mom showed you her photo. You gotta admit she looks beautiful in that pink long dress of hers." Savannah said and before I could reply, mom spoke.
"Firstly, it wasn't a dress. It was a Kurti and secondly, sounds like you have a crush on her not Daniel." I laughed at mom's comment and Savannah rolled her eyes.
"Daniel, I think you should-" The ringing of her phone, stopped her mid-sentence. She picked up the phone and a smile instantly formed on her lips. Her face lifted up and a glad look crossed her eyes. It's definitely Jack, her husband.
"It's Jack." She confirmed and went off to bed, bidding us a 'good night'.
Damn, I want something like that.
"And you'll soon have it." Mom said and I realised I said that sentence out loud.
"You think so?" I asked hopefully and mom nodded her head with a big smile on her face.
"My heart says something like this awaits you and Kiara. Son, I think she's perfect for you."
"I do too." I truthfully said.
"Shall I call the Malhotras then?" She asked and I thought about it for a solid minute.
"Yes."
"You're agreeing on marrying Kiara? You sure?" She asked once again and I nodded my head.
"Affirmative." I said and she hugged me with excitement.
