"Jess? Can we talk?" said Calvin.

"I'm all ears" was all Jess said.

"Listen. I hate that I hurt your feelings. And I realize now that I can't tell you how I feel. But I can sing it" said Calvin.

Jess didn't answer. 

Calvin played guitar and sang his song.

Jess was so happy, she actually hugged Calvin.

"Thank you so much, Cal. I loved that" she said.

"You're welcome. Did it make your trip better?" said Calvin.

"It really did" said Jess.

"Of course we are" Jess answered.
