"I really messed up didn't I?" said Calvin.
"No you didn't. It's normal" said Meg.
"I just can't make her happy at all. Or say the right thing" said Calvin.
"Don't worry about it. Murray had the same problem with me" Sam said.
"Yeah. So just wait a while for Jess and she'll come around" said Charles Wallace.
"I don't think it works that way with everyone" said Calvin.
"You never know. you may be lucky" Sam said.
Brer Rabbit then approached the kids.
"Calvin? I's really sorry I trapped ya in dat meat lockah" said Brer Rabbit.
"You should be. Parts of me are still defrosting" said Calvin.
"How can I help?" said Brer Rabbit.
"I dunno. This is so messed up. I really hate that I hurt Jess's feelings but talking about my emotions makes me so uncomfortable" said Calvin.
"I hates talkin about my emotions too. Even talkin about yo' emotions is makin me queasy" said Brer Rabbit.
"Well, Brer Rabbit, I wanna tell Jess how I feel but I don't know how" said Calvin.
"Hmm. The Beatles always write songs about love." Meg said.
"yeah. And their songs are always full of emotion" Sam said.
"So maybe you could write a song for Jess" said Charles Wallace.
"Good idea, kiddos. Whaddaya say, Cal? I can help" said Brer Rabbit.
"I see what you're doing. You only wanna help so you can make my short film" said Calvin.
"I promises dat ain't true. I really does care about you an' Jess" said Brer Rabbit.
"Then... I guess I can tell Jess how I feel in a song. I mean, as soon as my fingers thaw out" said Calvin.
"I'll go getcha doze rat mittens" said Brer Rabbit.
This one was short because I'm busy tonight.
