I woke up the next day, on the floor. I had a stinging pain in my back, seeing Pansy standing over me with a grin watching my confused face.
'Mind telling me why I'm on the floor?'
'You wouldn't wake up. Move along, Draco's waiting for you in the common room.'
'Oh, alright then. When is class?'
'It's not for a while but I thought you'd want breakfast.'
'Thanks' I said, as I crawled up from the floor and got ready.
People might call me over the top, but the first classes of the year are always a bit more magical. That's why I've invented a tradition to dress properly for the first 2 weeks, and then look like a piece of pumpkin soup for the rest of the term. Fortunely, practice gave skills. I put on my tights, skirt and my white shirt, along with my tie. I quickly put on my makeup routine, which included most of the products you could think off. Thankfully, my hair was not very tangly, and my waves could remain noticable. I inspected myself in the mirror, as I decided to be ready.
'How do you do that so quickly? It's incredible.' Pansy said in fascination.
'What?' I answered confused.
'The black thing around your eyes. I stole it from you while you were sleeping last year and tried to use it. It's impossible, I don't get it.'
'I am one of a kind.' I said as I winked at her. 'Also, remind me to buy a locker next time we can go to Hogsmeade.'
'What, why?'
'So you won't snoop through my things again. Anyhow, let's move along. I'm sure the boys are waiting impatiently upstairs.'
We met up with Draco and Blaise upstairs, seeing that most of our house already left the common room. We all accompanied each other to the great hall to eat some simple breakfast. To my surprise, they didn't serve porridge this year. To me it was a relief, because honestly. Porridge is the most disgusting dish I've ever tasted. As a kid when we still lived in Sweden and my mother as alive, they used to serve it every Christmas morning. Still, didn't appeal to me. Although, Draco had to disagree.
'No porridge? Are they mental?' Draco expressed in genuine rage.
'Calm down.' Pansy said, stuffing her mouth with fruit salad.
'Calm down? calm down? Common, everyone knows that porridge is the best thing they serve!'
'Settle down Draco please. There's plenty of other things to eat. What about this delicious bread? Huh? Open your mouth. Look, an airplane! Zoom, right into the mouth!' I said, loading a loaf of bread into his mouth. He looked at me, it looked like he was in genuine pain. Everyone at the table hysterically bursted into laughter as he spat out the bread.
'Thanks for that. Now I'll be known as breadman 2 months forward.'
'You're welcome, now shall we head to Herbology?' I asked, giggling a bit.
'Sure.' Pansy and Draco responded, as we walked out of the Great Hall.

We were waiting outside of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom for the class to start. These were one of these lessons the whole year had together. That meant, the trio was there. To my surprise, Pansy and Blaise started to hang out with me and Draco more than usual. So did Hermione notice, so when she walked up to us she looked rather uncomfortable. Her brown eyes looked down at her pointy feet uncomfortably, trying to avoid Pansy as much as possible. Pansy looked rather shy and her black hair covered her entire face as she tried to hide herself from Hermione. I was so uncomfortable. To my relief, Professor Lupin welcomed us to class.
