chapter 12

It's been six weeks, I have been spending most of my time either with Jade, or Beck.

I have invited Trina to come hang out with us, but she says she doesn't want to be a charity case. I just tell her she's not. But if's not not going to come, then that's on her, I can't force her to do something she doesn't want to do.

At the moment, I am with Jade, holding her hair up as she hug the toilet, throwing up. When she's done, I make the mistake of looking down before she flushed the toilet, and ended up throwing up myself.

"Sorry, but you shouldn't have looked down." Jade said.

I just glare at her, and grab some mouthwash from where they kept it, I brushed my teeth with my finger since I was over at Jade's and they didn't have extra toothbrushes.

"How are things with you and Andre?" I asked after both our mouths are fresh.

"They're going great, I can't believe he actually wants to stay, I mean what teenage boy decides to stay and parent a kid that's not even theirs?"

"We both know Andre is different Jade. He's got a good heart and he always does what he thinks is right. So for him to risk his friendship with Beck, even though we both know Beck wouldn't be mad, and for... Excuse me..." I said pushing her out of the way and throwing up again.

"Tori..." Jade said slowly.

"What?"

"I have a pair of pants that don't fit me, I think they are your size."

"Okay..." I don't get why she said that, then I look down and realized that I have some vomit on my pants.

I wash my mouth again and head to Jade's room, where she hands me a pair of jeans. I don't look at the size and put them on.

"They don't fit, they're to small." I tell Jade taking the pants off.

"Um... Tori.."She says looking at me shocked.

"What?"

"Have you seen the size on that?"

I look at the jeans to see that they should be big on me.

'Ugh, really? Why am I gaining so much weight?"

"Do you think you're..." Jade said rubbing her stomach.

"No, I'm not. I'm pretty sure I'm not. Do you have some sweats I can change into?" I say walking towards her laundry room to throw my stuff to wash.

I waited for my stuff to wash by going upstairs and watching TV with Jade.

"Tori, are you sure..."Jade began to speak, but I cut her off.

"Jade, I'm not pregnant, I think I would know if I was pregnant. I said going towards her kitchen and grabbing a snickers bar and some ice cream.

"Snickers and ice cream?" She asked me curiously.

"Yea, I was wondering what it would taste like together lat week, so I tried it, and, it tastes really good,I can't get enough of it. "

"Oh. Hey, I'm going to the store. I'll be back as soon as I can."

"You want me to go with?"

"No,I know where everything is."

"Okay, hey do you mind if I take a shower?"

"No, go right ahead." Jade said, then grabbed her keys.

I went downstairs and got my stuff from the dryer and went to take a quick shower. If I was at home I would have taken longer, but here I felt bad if I took too long.

When I was rubbing Jade's soap all over my body, I felt a bump on my belly. Not a bump like a pimple, but like my stomach is no longer flat. I need to keep exercising. I have been getting lazy and know I have to work harder to lose this extra weight.

I got out of the shower, and got dresses, leaving my hair to dry naturally.

When Jade cam back she threw a bottle of water at me. "Drink this." She said when I looked at her like she was crazy.

In my defense she threw a bottle of water at me as a way of telling me she was back.. That has to classify as crazy in someones book, right?

I told her I didn't want to drink it, but she glared at me and threatened to cut my hair, and leave me bald if I didn't, so I drank it super fast.

"Good, now lw's go watch some more TV." She said like she didn't just threaten me.

We sat and watched reruns for a while, but then we got bored and put on a movie. Half an hour in to the movie, I had to pee.

I paused the movie and told Jade I had to pee, she smiled wickedly and threw something at me. I looked down when I caught it, to see that it was a bag. I looked in the bag, and saw two boxes. I knew what they were right away.

"Jade, I already told you I'm not..."

"Then you wouldn't mind, peeing on the dang sticks."

I just sighed, and went to the bathroom, deciding to amuse Jade and pee on the freaking pregnancy tests that she decided to go and buy for me. I washed my hands and flushed the toilet, putting each test on top of the box.

"What now?" I ask Jade as I open the door.

"Now, we wait and see if my suspicions are correct."

I groaned and waited. The box said five minutes, I literally counted down each single minute, hoping that Jade is wrong. I can't be pregnant, I still have to go to college, and graduate high school. Being pregnant would not be the best thing for me.

Two minutes left, I was getting impatient. I started thinking of how I was over reacting, and so was Jade, I've just been eating too much junk food lately, and i haven't exercised, that's why I look pregnant. I'm not really pregnant.

One minute. "Time is going by way to slow." I told Jade.

"It would have gone by faster if you decided to listen to music. You'd be enjoying the music and not thinking about what could happen if you are or are not pregnant. But if you are don't worry it's not so bad really. I think the worst part is knowing that the father wants nothing to do with this baby, but even then I don't think it's bad, because I have friends that I know will go to the end of the world, to find whatever me or my kid will need.

"Time." Jade said.

I sighed and walked in to the bathroom.

"Okay, so one line is pregnant, and two is not pregnant?" I asked.

"Other way around, two lines is pregnant, and one line is not pregnant. It's like one line is one body, two lines is two bodies. "

"Crap." I said looking at the sticks, each with two lines on them.

"I told you." Jade told me quietly.

"I have to tell Beck."
