But something always gets in between  love no?

Well this time what started it was a gasp coming from someone behind us at school during lunch. We just ignored it.  

"Since when are you guys together?" the voice asked. Oh no. I know that voice.

I felt Beck tense up behind me. 

"What are you doing here Jade?" he asked. 

"I need to talk to you Beck. Its really important." she said.  

Beck looks at me as if asking for permission, I just nodded and said I'd be at lunch with the guys and Cat.  

He just nodded and kissed me real fast before going to Jade.  

I really wonder what that was all about. Of course I didn't want to be nosy so I just went to lunch and let them talk.  

But then Cat said something that totally ruined my life. 

"Did you know Beck got Jade pregnant? She's about two months pregnant." 

"What?!" we all spat our drinks at her. 

"How long have you known this?" I asked. 

" Just found out."  

"So he's gonna leave me? So he can build our dream with her." I started crying and walked away.  

I skipped the rest of the day and went home. Mom saw me crying and asked me what happened so I filled her in on everything. By the end of the story she was crying along with me. 

"Oh sweetie I am so sorry! Why didn't he tell you?" she asked. 

"Maybe he didn't know, but mom now him and Jade are going to move to Canada and have little Becks and Jades running around the place! I'm gonna go buy some cats and officially become a neighborhood cat lady. It's never too early to start on your future." As I got up to go to the pet store, someone knocked on the door.  

"Hey what happened?" Beck asked. 

I just started crying and he wrapped his arms around me, I just pulled away. "Babe, whats wrong?" 

"Honey who's there?" asked mom. 

I didn't tell her who it was so she came to see.  

"Oh." she said glaring at Beck. 

"What did I do Mrs. Vega?" he asked.  

"Come with me." she ordered leading him to the study. 

I guess she told him whats going on because he came out crying.  

"I'm sorry! I didn't know! She just told me today. I always use protection. Probably not even mine!" 

"Beck! Why would you say that!" I asked irritated. 

"This is uncomfortable. But last time I slept with her was like 5 months ago. I remember cause it was for my birthday." 

"So, She's lying." 

"Lying, Cheating, something." 

"We have to find out. Go along with it. Find out everything about it. Pretend we broke up. But whatever you do try not to kiss her in front of me. Please." 

"Do I have to kiss her?"  

" You can play it off saying that you're just in it so the kid wont have a fatherless childhood. That you wanna be there for the kid but shes gonna have to give your relationship sometime to flourish again."
