Chapter 8

While Beck was in a cast, I struggled with not feeling guilty. How could I not feel guilty when it really was my fault?

"Stop it,it's not your fault." Beck said looking at me, while I nervously bit my nails, a disgusting habit I picked up at Hollywood Arts.

"I was just thinking that it could be my fault, if you weren't coming to see me it would not have happened."

"Tori, quit it. Look, I had to go home anyways, which was the same way, I was going to leave anyways, I was getting up as you called, I told Jade I have to go right as I was walking out the door.  It's not something that you would have stopped. "

"Do you promise it's not my fault?" I asked

He looked at me with a loving smile, "I promise." he said then kissed me sweetly.

Beck was in a cast for a long time, and everyday I felt better and less guilty, but only because everyone kept reassuring me that it wasn't my fault. 

Three weeks later, Beck was still in a cast, that's when I stopped feeling guilty. Well mostly, I still felt a little bit guilty, but I didn't let it get to me.  Everyone was there, annoyed at me for blaming mysef, and everyone was here for Beck, helping him with whatever he needed.  I'm so glad we have great friends.

  Today we are supposed to go on a date, but Jade called me sounding distressed, so I had to postpone the date until tomorrow.

"What's wrong?" I asked her as soon as I got to her house.

"Sinjin." She sobbed

"What about him?"

"He wants me to get an abortion, he says he's not going to help me take care of the kid, he says he has a lot of things going for him. He doesn't need a pregnant teen to look after when he can't even look after his pets. He says he still has ladies to be with and things to do and that I Will only drag him down. He doesn't want me to have this kid."

"What about you? Do you want this kid?"

" I don't know, this baby will be half me and half Sinjin, so he deserves a chance to decide what will happen."

"Is the baby in Sinjin's body?" I asked annoyed.

"No." she answered looking at me like I'm stupid.

"Is Sinjin giving birth to this baby?"

"No."

"Is he gaining weight because of this baby?"

"No." With each no she sounded more annoyed.

"Is Sinjin the one going through this pregnancy all by himself?"

"No, what are you getting at Vega?"

"Look Jade, this baby may be half you and half Sinjin, but that doesn't mean he gets to make the choice on whether or not to get an abortion. Do you really want your body to be a cemetery? DO you want to give this baby up? You have harshly judged everyone you knew if they even thought about abortions, is this what you want?"

"No, Vega it's not. But I'm not sure what to do anymore. I can't raise this baby on my own."

"You won't West, we're here for you, all of us. You don't need Sinjin, if anything, he would be the one bringing you down honey, just forget him. He doesn't need to be in this kids' life. We will be there for this kid, little West will never be in need of anything because we have him covered."

"Him?"

"Yeah, I think your baby is going to be a boy."

"Me too." She admitted with a smile.

"Cool, come on, let's go get some Ice Cream." I say reaching my arm out for her to take.

"Actually, I really want a Snickers and some Hot sauce." She said with a shy smile, an expression I never thought I would see on Jade.

"You want what?"

"Snickers with Hot Sauce."

"Like together?" She just nodded and blushed looking away.

"Okay." I said as we got in my car and went to the nearest store, which happened to be right in the middle of her and Beck's house.

At the store as I was getting ice cream for me and loading it into the cart, I see a head of shiny black hair come my way.

"Well hey there sexy, you come here often?" He asked in a flirty voice, a smirk on his tan face.

"I do, but usually my boyfriend is with me." I say smiling back at the guy.

"Oh, really?" He asks leaning forward.

"Yes, so back off now sleazeball." Jade said walking up behind me.

"Make me." He said with a sneer.

"Okay." Jade said with a smirk, as she brought her knee up and kneed the guy in the family jewels, then slapped him, getting crazy stared from the people around us.

"What was that all about?" I heard a familiar voice behind me.

 I turned around to find that Beck was behind me.  I told him what happened and he looked like he was willing to get his other arm broken for me. He started waking towards the guy, but me and Jade stopped him and dragged him towards the hot sauce, then the Snickers.

"You don't need another six weeks in a cast." I told him, seeing as he had to be in that cast for 3 more weeks.

"Ice cream, hot sauce, and Snickers, what's going on?" Beck asked amused at the combination in our cart. Ignoring what I just said about the cast.

"I wanted ice cream. Jade wanted hot sauce with Snickers. You want anything?"

"Nah, I just came to get some lemonade and some bread because mom said we ran out, but then as soon as I was about to get it, she texted me telling me that dad just got home and had bought some, so I decided to walk around the store and I found you."

" Oh, so you want to just come over to mine with Jade's so we can hang out?" I asked grabbing his unbroken arm. 

"That sounds cool. Maybe we can all hang out, is that okay with you?" HE asked hopeful.

"Sure, I'll call Cat, and you call the boys."

"Should I call Sinjin?" Beck asked.

"No, Jade can do better than him." I said annoyed.

"What, why?"

"I'll tell you at the house just don't ask him to come." Jade said.

He just nodded and pulled his arm away from mine to get his phone and text the boys. I texted Cat and made Trina leave the house, telling her that One Direction was in the town next over and that they were giving away free passes to anyone who went to Hollywood Arts.  She squealed and left the house running.

  As soon as she left, Everyone got here, Cat had red velvet cupcakes, Andre had drinks, and Robbie, well he was Robbie.

 I chose a movie as Beck popped some popcorn, while rummaging through my kitchen looking for snacks. He came back with a bowl of popcorn on one hand and a tray full of packs of Twizzlers, M & M's,  Skittles and Sweet and Sours.  He set both the tray and the bowl on the table as we all dive into them, while we all watch the movie.

Jade just sits and watched the movie and pours hot sauce on her snickers every once in a while. Getting weird stares from everyone around her.

 As soon as the second movie was over, Trina came in looking seriously ticked off.

"Tori Vega!" she shouted slamming the door behind her.
