My fever has broken. I am very fortunate. People from my town were able to come here. They brought food and blankets. I was even able to talk to one of them. We spoke of Nancy and father, they are both doing well. I then brought up mother. I knew right away something was wrong. He told me mother died along with the baby. I grieve for mother, I didn't even say good-bye.
