My life as a soldier is over. Someone else must have discovered that I am not a man. General Washington came up to me himself and talked to me. He told me that I have done a great job but that he doesn't want to risk a woman's life staying here. He knows about the disease that is spreading around. Yet, he can't do anything about it. He wrote all those letter to Congress but they didn't do much in return. Those beautiful letters were just a waste. At least I'll be able to see my family again. I have missed them so much. Today, I shall go home.
