Valley Forge is a real place where George Washington and his troops did stay during the winter of 1777 and 1778. Around two-thirds of the soldiers there died. Most died from the disease between March and April. The soldiers left when they heard that the British had left their encampment. They had caught up within nine days which caused a battle. The Americans won and they marched on. The Americans did win, just like James Cadey predicted would happen if they all just remembered what they were fighting for...
Since this started as a school project, I need to include my sources. Most of this came from my own creation based off the facts that I learned during school. I found some information however on one website.
