On Monday, Monoma was stashing his textbooks in his locker when Kendo and Tetsutetsu materialised behind him.

"Hey, hoe," she said. Tetsutetsu gave him a fist bump.

"Hi."

"What happened to you?" Kendo asked. "TT said your parents went out on Friday night?"

"Yes, so?"

"You didn't throw a party, man?" Tetsutetsu whined.

"No."

"He's acting weird," Kendo muttered to Tetsutetsu.

"Definitely sus," he agreed.

"Guys! I'm not being weird!" Monoma protested, raising his hands in the universal 'I'm Innocent' gesture.

"Hmm..." Kendo peered at the blond closely. Suddenly her jaw went slack. "Oh. My. God."

"What, what?"

"You slept with him!" she accused.

Monoma felt heat rise up the back of his neck. "What? I— psshh... no..."

"Oh, you are such a bad liar," she said. She cackled gleefully. "Does that mean you're in love with him now?"

"No." Monoma answered without even considering the question properly. "I'm... not even in like."

Kendo's grin fell away and her mouth settled into a grim line. "So, what is it then?"

"It's just a game. I'm being entertained."

"Mono-kun," she placed a hand on his shoulder. "I know you, and you wouldn't just give your virginity up to someone you didn't care about."

Monoma shrugged off her hand. "I was bored, I'm just messing around."

Kendo looked... not mad, but that kind of disappointed, 'you've failed me' stare mothers give their kids. The kind of stare that is a hundred times worse than being yelled at.

"You're lying through your teeth," she said, her tone calm and even. "And you have a hickey on your collarbone."

Monoma's hand flew to his collar. "Can I borrow your foundation?"

"Get it out of my locker," she said, starting to walk away.

"Wait, are you mad at me?" Monoma called after her. Tetsutetsu watched the encounter awkwardly.

"I won't be sitting with you guys at lunch," she said instead of answering the question. "I can't watch you torture that poor boy anymore."

Tetsutetsu stared after her awkwardly before glancing at Monoma.

Monoma shrugged.

"Less than two weeks to win him over, man," Tetsutetsu reminded his friend.

He nodded slowly. "I know."
