On Monday, Shinso loaded up his lunch tray, stepped away from the line, and hesitated. Ever since he'd yelled at Aizawa, he had nowhere to eat his lunch, and loitered in his classroom for the half-hour instead. Being an introvert had seemed like a good idea, but now it was coming back to bite him.

"Hitoshi!"

Monoma appeared behind him, also balancing a full tray. "Hey. Come eat at my table?"

Shinso accepted gratefully. "Sure." He followed the blond over to the table.

"Hitoshi, this is Itsuka Kendo and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. Guys, meet Shinso. My boyfriend" Monoma introduced. Tetsutetsu raised his eyebrows at his friend to say, you got him already?

"Hi," Shinso waved awkwardly. He sat next to Kendo and across from Monoma.

"Hi, Shinso," Kendo greeted warmly. "You're Monoma's boyfriend? I'll warn you now, he's a handful. If he steps out of line, let me know, okay? I'll be quick to put him in line!"

The purple haired boy allowed a small chuckle. "Okay, thank you."

"A few of us are going to the gaming arcade today, you should come with," she offered. "They just got in this new racing game, it's supposed to have really good graphics."

"It will probably be crowded, but if we run we can get there first," Tetsutetsu chimed in.

"So, are you free?" the amber-haired girl asked.

This small group was asking him to hang out; they were talking to him, like he was a normal person, not a villain. Shinso felt warm inside. Was this friendship? Is this what he was missing out on?

He had work... but he could call in 'sick'. He hadn't used any of his sick days for the whole year yet. He glanced at Monoma. It would be worth it for actual friends, right? "Yeah, I can come," he said.

"Great!"

The final bell rang and Kendo slammed her textbook shut, shoving it into her bag quickly, sweeping her pencils into her pencil case and throwing them in suit. She rushed out of the classroom, Tetsutetsu following close behind.

"Hurry up, Mono-kun!" she called to the blond, who was taking his time packing up his school supplies.

"Hurrying," he said, not hurrying at all.

"NEITO! You're gonna make us late!" Tetsutetsu yelled.

"Okay... I am here!" he said, trying to mimic All Might and failing miserably.

"Gotta find Kirishima," Tetsutetsu remembered.

"No, class A sucks!" Monoma said, only half-caring.

"No, my friend." Tetsutetsu replied. "You suck."
