YN's POV

The sound of the front door opening woke me up. I jumped up forgetting where I was for a moment. It was late and I was tired, so Amy insisted on me spending the night here, so she made me a bed on the couch. I could barely make out the brunette girl as she closed the door behind her. "hey" I said into the darkness.

She jumped back hitting her elbow on the door as she flicked on the light. "sorry I didn't mean to scare you" I walked over to her.

"its fine" she bit down on her lip rubbing her elbow.

"are you okay? Do you need ice or something?" I feel so bad for scaring her.

"I am fine" tears prickled in her already red eyes. Did he make her cry again?

"you don't look fine" I said making her eyes grow wide. Sometimes I can be blunt and maybe that's what she needs right now.

"I-I" she stuttered avoiding my stare. "I said I was fine and I surely don't have to explain myself to a stranger in my home" Lauren wiped the tear from her cheek and started to walking away.

"sue me for asking if you were okay" I rolled my eyes. "sorry for caring you were hurt" She turned on her heel narrowing her brown eyes at me. While she was trying to look intimidating, I just thought she looked cute like an angry puppy.

"why are you even here?" she crossed her arms.

"your sister let me spend the night" I smirked know while she is acting tough, she isn't going to kick me out knowing her sister wants me here. "So see you at breakfast" I winked walking back to the couch Lauren huffed turning around.

"that couch is the worst to sleep on so have fun with back pain in the morning. I am going to bed" she called over her shoulder as she walked up the steps.

"Was that an invitation to sleep in your bed?" I called after her making her stop in her tracks.

"no but I do have an extra bed in my room, but you pissed me off so enjoy the couch" she smirked standing on the stairs.

"I will babe thanks" I said pissing her off even more.

"oh, hey Laurie you are home" Amy said at the top of the steps earning her attention. "do you think Y/N can crash in your room?"

"yeah" Lauren said with a tight lip smile. "she can" she added looking over at me. I smirked pushing myself off the couch meeting her by stairs. "this way Y/N"

"You are the best Laurie" Amy gave her a quick hug. "goodnight lads" she gave us a wave before disappearing into her room.

"Night Ames" Lauren watched her before turning narrowing her eyes at me. "lets go to sleep so morning will be here and you can leave" she ran her fingers through her brown hair.

"why I thought we were having fun?" I smirked following her into her bedroom. She ignored me walking over to her dresser. She picked out a change of clothes and disappeared into the bathroom. When she came back out her hair was pulling into a messy bun at the top of her head and her face was freshly washed.

Lauren moved around the room pulling a blanket and pillows out the closet without saying a word. She came over to me shoving the stuff into my arms. "thanks princess" I dropped the stuff on the bed flashing her a smile. She rolled her brown eyes turning away from me. "goodnight" I set up the bed climbing into it.

"Night" she muttered getting into bed and clicked off the light. Silence took over leaving me with my thoughts. Maybe I took it to far? She was already upset when she came home, and I couldn't just keep my mouth shut. I just had to make things worse.
