Zuko was eating with Mai when the letter came. "Fire Lord Zuko." The guard said as two others bowed behind him. "We have urgent business." He said, Zuko nods, "Your father, Ozai, has been killed in his cell. No one else was hurt, nor even knew it was happening." He said, Zuko's eyes went wide, with Mai in shock. "They found him burnt and dead when the guards went in to feed him." The guard said, "They left this," He said, he passed Zuko a scroll. And he read;

Ozai, burnt for his crimes but was first scared for them. For the pain he caused others he got a scar for each one.
First, a scar on his back. For the betrayal of his brother, Iroh.
Then a scar on his chest. For the heartbreak, he caused his wife, Ursa.
Next a scar on his throat. For the poison, he used to kill his father, Azulon.
Then a scar on his eye. For the one he gave his son, Zuko.
Next a scar on his hands. For the weapon, he turned his daughter, Azula, into.
Then a scar on his feet. For the avatar and refugees, that he forced to run.
A scar on his stomach. For the suffering, he caused his nation.
And finally death! Sealing his fait permanently. For the pain, he caused the world and his family.
I assure you that he felt much pain. His screams were pleasant. This is a gift for the Fire nation and the world.

-Deliverer of spirits

The letter finished, once Zuko finished reading it, he was shocked, angry, sad, but also happy. Happy his father was gone, happy he suffered like so many others. So many others that suffered at his hand. But Zuko quickly pushed the thoughts away. Who was this Deliverer of spirits? He didn't know but knew he needed to tell Azula. "Go gather everyone for a meeting," Zuko called and the guards ran off, except for one. "Do you want the generals too, or just friends and family?" He asked, "Just friends and family, this isn't for the generals to concern themselves with.. yet." Zuko replied and the guard bowed as he left.

Azula ran with Ty Lee towards the main meeting place. As they got there they saw team avatar. With some others, such as Suki. And Mai and Zuko of course. Azula stopped for a moment, "I thought this was a family matter?" She asked slowly, "It is, but it's also a security matter. So, Aang and team avatar are here to help. And Suki is in charge of the Kyoshi warriors. So, it wouldn't hurt to have their help as well." Zuko said and Azula nodded sitting as far away from everyone as possible. Ty Lee rushed over to hug Suki, then everyone else in turn. It made Azula slightly jealous, but Azula shrugged it off. Remembering that she had no right to be jealous. "So, as you all know, my father, our father, Ozai, has been killed." He said 'our father' carefully, as not to make Azula blow up. Azula noticed this but paid no attention. Zuko then passed a letter around and everyone read it. Azula was last to read it, but it made her queazy, nauseous even. She might have vomited if Ty Lee didn't come over and rub her arm gently. Zuko took the letter back and rolled it up. "We don't know who this 'Deliverer of spirits' is, but I intend on finding out." Zuko continued, but Azula wasn't quite sure what to think. She hated her father, but she wasn't sure if she wanted him dead. But what scared her the most is that deep inside her, she knew she did. She knew she wanted him to suffer, and feel pain. She wanted him dead, but that's what scared her the most.

Ty Lee wandered down to Azula's room, she hadn't seen her since the meeting. It had been a whole day and Azula hasn't come out of her room. Which scared Ty Lee a bit, Mai said she had already spoken with her. And that Azula was fine, but Ty Lee wanted to make sure. As she approached Azula's room, she heard sobs. The acrobat quickly burst into her room. Azula quickly looked up with tears in her eyes. As soon as she saw Ty Lee she looked away. "Leave!" She shouted, Ty Lee, shrank a bit, and turned to leave. But instead, she shut the door and walked over to Azula. Azula looked up again, "Why did you shut the door?" She asked, as her head instantly went to old memories. "Because I didn't think you wanted anyone to see." The acrobat replied, "S-See w-what?" She stuttered out, "You crying, if you want the door open, I can open it." She said Azula relaxed a bit, "N-No... it's fine." She said, "So, what's up?" Ty Lee asked, "Why are you crying." She asked, Azula looked away, "I don't want to talk about it," Azula admitted, "Please Azula, you know you can tell me anything." Ty Lee grabbed Azula's hand as she said this. Giving it a soft squeeze, Azula gulped for a moment. "It's about my father," Azula admitted, and Ty Lee's face made a small frown. "I... I'm sorta sad that he's dead." Azula said, "No. no, I'm not, and that's what scares me, Ty Lee." Azula started to let her emotions out. She let them flow and she couldn't stop them. "I know he's my father, and I should be sad. But I'm not, I am almost happy he's dead. Happy he suffered, and that scares me. Am I just that much of a monster? Ty Lee, I think I am and I am so frightened of that monster." Azula cried more and more as she continued. "Azula stop it!" Ty Lee shouted and Azula stopped, "You are not a monster! Your father was a monster who hurt so many people. Who hurt you. He deserved what happens to him! And you are not a monster for being happy knowing he can never hurt you. Or anyone else, ever again!" She shouted, Azula was surprised because Ty Lee isn't normally so forceful. "You don't even know, Ty Lee." Azula said quietly, "You don't know what he used to do." Azula said sadly, more tears falling from her face. "Your right Azula, I don't, but I know it was horrible. I know whatever he did hurt you. And if you ever need to talk about it, I am here for you." She said and wrapped Azula in a tight hug. "I... I think I would like to tell you... but I don't know how to begin. Or how to tell you, I just... I just don't know." Azula admitted sadly. Ty Lee gave a sad smile, "Begin wherever you want to and tell me the truth. I promise I can handle it, I promise I will support you." She said hugging Azula, as she nodded. "Ok... I guess... I guess I'll start from somewhat the beginning." Azula started as Ty Lee took a seat in front of her.
