"We've looked everywhere, but still no sign of her." The general said, "I'm afraid that we've looked everywhere, but still no sign." The general said, "Everywhere? If you looked everywhere then Ty Lee would have been found by now!" Azula shouted from the other side of the large planning table. "That's just it, I think we should consider the idea that Ty Lee may be d-" The general was cut off by Azula slamming her fists on the table. Small plumes of fire shot up from her fists, but Azula quickly shoved them between her legs to keep in check. Azula gritted her teeth as she spoke slowly, to not breathe fire all over the general! "Ty Lee isn't... you know, she is fine, but won't be if we don't get to her soon, so we need to find her!" Azula barely kept in check and some smoke wafted from her nostrils for a moment as if she were a dragon getting ready for the kill. "Azula!" Zuko shouted, "We're all worried about Ty Lee but-" Zuko was cut off by Azula, "Are you? It doesn't seem like any of you are even remotely worried about Ty Lee! If you were, then you'd be doing everything in your stupid Fire Lord power to find her!" Azula shouted, now unable to contain herself. "I am! I am doing everything in my pow-" Zuko tried, but yet again was cut off by Azula, "No you not! Because if you were she'd be found by now!" Azula was standing up now, and so was Zuko. "That's not true!" Zuko said, "Isn't it though?" Azula shouted so loudly blue flames shot from her mouth, "Not if she's dead!" Zuko screamed, and immediately his expression fell. "What did you just say.." Azula asked quietly now, and everyone fell silent. Making the room eerily quiet, which was such a sharp contrast to the previous moment, that it was almost scary. It was scary! "I-I- I didn't mean-" but Zuko couldn't finish, because Azula ran out in tears, and smoke. Rage and sadness consumed her, and only one thought remained, Ty Lee.

After an hour Zuko walked to Azula's room. I shouldn't have said what I said. Zuko thought, he walked up to her door and knocked softly. No answer came, he sighed, he almost left, but something compelled him to stay. He sat down his back against the door and a lump in his throat.

"Listen Azula, I-" he cut himself off, not sure what to say. Then, all of a sudden he just started talking, speaking his true emotions to her. "I'm so sorry Azula, for so long I used to hate you, I thought you were why I suffered so much, but the truth is... I'm the reason you suffered." Zuko said the lump getting stronger as he came to the realization.

"Mom loved me with all her heart and spent as much time as possible with me. She helped me learn, she helped me grow, she helped me understand right from wrong, and most of all.. she loved me." Zuko continued as each piece of the puzzle finally revealed what he so desperately wondered for so long.

"But Mom didn't do the same for you she didn't care enough for you to even help you understand why what you were doing was wrong. She just yelled at you, she distanced herself from you. Sure our Father was part of why we were so separate, but Mom could have done more. She should have done more, and she didn't, she didn't want to, or maybe she didn't care enough to, I don't know. Whatever it was it made you feel unwanted and I didn't help, I just stuck with Mom, became her angel, and let you become Ozai's. I watched as you turned from a baby innocent and gentle to cruel, manipulative, and.. evil. I let this happen and it was all my fault." Zuko didn't know how to continue, he didn't know if he should, but then he heard a noise on the other side of the door, a whoosh. Like the wind, blowing through heavy curtains. He stood up and gritted his teeth as he open Azula's door. He found the room empty, and the window open, he ran to the window, not sure if she ran away, or... he looked down at the ground below the window, there was nothing down there. He sighed in relief, then he noticed the scorch marks around the outside of the window as if she jetted herself from it. He realized that not only did she run away to, most likely, find Ty Lee on her own, he had also just poured his heart out to an empty room! He slammed his fist on the window frame and went running from the room, but then he saw a piece of paper he picked it up and read.
