El día antes de la boda--The Day Before The Wedding

YESTERDAY, SUN came at Arvhill house once again. Arvhill called me from my room as soon as Sun arrived. He delivered the suit that I should wear at his wedding. "Ty, Sun was here for your tuxedo."

"Oh? Ok. Ok. Give me a minute." Yes, tomorrow will be his wedding, a night wedding. Hindi na talaga mapipigilan. I get up from lying on my bed and put my phone at the bedside table. I was surfing while ago when, Arvhill called me. I took a deep breath, forming a wide smile on my face, I opened the door. "Where is he?" I asked, not making any extra move.

He smiled. "Ok kana? Pwedeng sabihin kong masama ang paki—."

"Hey, don't treat me as weak as I was before. I'm fine. I will be. And I-I need to." Sagot ko habang pahina ng pahina ang boses ko. "Hay." I released a big amount of breath. "'Wag mo nga akong tingnan ng ganyan, Vhill. Kinakawawa mo ako e... Bukas na ang kasal ta's magiging bitter pa'ko?" I chuckled. "It's hard to accept but if that's the only thing to make him happy, then, who am I to become a villain on their relationship?" He looked at me, confirming if I was telling the truth. "Ahhh, ako nga pala ang nagbigay sa kanya ng pasakit. I am his darkest past. I was a curse on his lif—."

"You know that wasn't true." He cut my words. "He is not thinking the way you think about your pasts."

I shrugged giving him a weak smile. "Tara na nga. Ikaw kase sabi sa'yong ok lang ako e... Nababakla na ako dahil sa pagtrato mo sakin e." I joked trying to ease the heavy atmosphere. I don't want the both of us to suffocate because of the past. We started walking downstairs, towards the living room.

"Ay, hindi ka pala bakla?" He shot back trying to act like shock.

"Hindi kaya." I countered, and then chuckled.

"Eh bakit minahal mo siya?" Tanong na naman nito.

"In every rule, there's an exemption, gago."

WE SAW SUN in the living room, comfortably sitting on the single sofa while scrolling on his phone. Nag-angat ito ng tingin nang maramdaman ang presensya namin. Our eyes met, and I became nervous suddenly.

His effect on me is no joke. It's still him. The only person who can make my heart flutter, is about to marry a lucky person.

He smiled, while not taking his eyes on me. His smile that made me once happy gives me a lethal pain now. Sino ba naman ang mag-aakala na ang mga bagay na nagpapasaya noon sa iyo, ay tanging sakit nalang ang naidudulot nito ngayon sa'yo?

I smiled in return. "Tyler, hello?" Tanong nito nang makalapit kami sa kanya ng tuluyan. Magkatabi kaming umupo ni Arvhill sa harap ni Sun, habang may mesa sa harap namin.

"Hello," I said, shortly. Naninibago parin ako sa kanyang trato sa akin, hindi ako sanay sa ganito. Kailan ba'ko masasanay rito? "Nasan na yon?" tanong ko. I want to get out of here as soon as possible. Para akong sinasakal ng hangin.
