Rihanna's POV

"Marshall I think someone's at the door!" I yelled from the kitchen as I finished the final preparations on the dinner table. Thanksgiving was almost just as stressful as Christmas, with all the cooking and entertaining. On top of that everybody knows I'm having a boy now so my whole family will be shoving baby names in my faces. I can see it now my mom will beg me to name him after my dad or my grandpa, I already know it.

"Okay Ri!" Marshall yelled back as he walked with haste toward the front door. I heard him pull it open and greet who ever it was.

"Well where is she I want to meet her." I heard an older, feminine voice say as I pulled the pies out of the oven.

Soon before me was a short, red haired, elderly women with Marshall's arm draped around her shoulder. She looked happy and healthy, and excited to be here. Marshall doesn't have extend family here often, so I could tell she was happy to see him.

"Robyn this is my grandma, Betty." Marshall said with a large smile, as he introduced us.

"Hi it's very nice to meet you." I said smiling back and opening up my arms to give her a hug.

"You too dear." She said wrapping her arms around me. To be honest I'm surprised the rest of Marshall's family isn't like this, sweet and caring. Kim is a bitch for the most part and from what I heard from Marshall his mom isn't much different.

We separated after a few seconds and walked over to the counter to examine the freshly baked pies I had just pulled out of the oven.

"So I heard you two are having a boy, congratulations!" Betty said making conversation.

"Yeah we found out not to long ago." Marshall said back still beaming with happiness.

"That's great, so when is your due?" Betty asked turning toward me.

"May 17th." I stated wiping my hands off on my dress.

"Wow that's so far away!" Betty exclaimed disappointedly

"I know I can hardly wait." I said laughing at her reaction.

"So you got a name picked out, is the nursery all ready to go?"

"Both of those are still in progress."

"What about Marshall Bruce Mathers the fourth?" Betty offered picking up an olive from the vegetable tray and dropping it in her mouth.

"That's a good one, I like Eli too. Marshall picked that one out."

"Eli is so cute, good job with that one Marshall." Betty said tapping her grandson on the arm.

"I know I'm a genius." Marshall said sarcastically. He seriously looked at the NFL roster and picked one at random, he told me the other day that's how he came up with Eli.

"Do you know when your mother is getting here? I want to make sure I'm drunk before she arrives." Debbie said opening the fridge to look for any trace of an alcoholic beverage.

"You ain't going to find any of that stuff here grandma, sorry." Marshall said reminding her that drugs and alcohol come no where close to this house.

"That's okay sweety, I keep forgetting." Betty said pulling out a bottle of water instead.

"My mom should be here soon, Kim and the girls are coming after that. Also Robyn has a few people from her family stopping by as well." Marshall explained our list of guests to his grandmother, making sure he didn't forget anyone.

From the other room I could hear the faint sound of my cell phone. I excused myself from the kitchen and headed straight to the living room to pick up the phone.
