Rihanna's POV

After the Award show was always the Grammy's Dinner party. Basically a very formal after party in a big banquet hall, filled with numerous round tables covered in extravagant center pieces. Along with live entertainment and amazing food. Normally celebrities go to mingle face to face after the show, because we're all in one place and don't get to see each other often.

I usually don't go because by the end of the Grammy's I'm exhausted. Katy however, begged Marshall and I to tag along with her. Feeling guilty for abandoning her earlier on the red carpet, I agreed to go. Meaning Marshall had no choice but to come along too. The three of us got back into our car and told the driver our next location.

"Thanks for coming with me guys!" Katy beamed happily as we sped off in the direction of the dinner party.

"Your welcome Katy, we can't stay to late though we have to get back home to the kids." I said with a smile. I didn't want Hailie to have to watch Whitney all night by herself.

"Of course." Katy said understanding.

Rihanna's POV

We arrived at the banquet hall that was already full of people, and tried to find a table to sit. I was already regretting being here, Marshall and I were getting stared at and whispered about all over the room. Was it really that odd for us to be dating? I don't care if people talk about me behind my back, but at least make it a little less obvious.

The three of us sat at one of the tables, already set up with a set of dishes and silverware. A waiter rushed over to us with a tall green bottle clasped in his hands.

"Any drinks tonight?" He asked offering some of the alcohol filled beverage to us.

"Can we get some water?" Katy asked rejecting the champagne.

"Of course m'am, I'll only be a moment." The waiter said leaving the table side. I gave Katy a little nudge with and smile to show my thanks. Marshall has been completely sober for a few years now, so her asking for water made things less uncomfortable for him.

"Ugh Chris and Karrueche are both here." Katy said looking over a few tables away at the on and off couple. Karrueche was sitting on Chris's lap twirling her hair between her fingers.

"I thought they broke up?" I said obviously not caught up on the latest celebrity drama.

"No they got back together at the beginning of the week." Katy said with a shrug.

I was about to say something else before the water was back at the table with a pitcher of ice water. He filled our classes generously, and set the pitcher on the table.

"Thank you." I said to him still staring at Chis and his girlfriend. God the way she acted just pisses me off, laughing at all his jokes and being all flirtatious. We were in public, nobody wants to see her hanging all over Chris like that.

"Your welcome, I'll be back shortly after you decide what you'd like to eat." He said leaving the table to attend to another party of people.

"Just ignore them Ri, we're having a good time." Katy said snapping my attention away from the annoying couple.

"I am." I said looking down at the menu, I wasn't even hungry to be honest.

"Robyn, if you don't feel comfortable we can all go eat somewhere else." Marshall said noticing my unease.

"No thanks, it's fine." I said still looking the menu for something that seemed half way appetizing.

"Can you guys excuse me for a minute?" I said getting up from my chair, I needed to get away from the whole situation for a few minutes so I could cool down, because I'm about five seconds away from punching Karrueche in the face. It was like she was trying to rub Chris in my face, like I even cared that she was with him. I walked hurriedly to the restroom, trying to avoid any conversation with people on the way.
