AN: enjoy people.

Lila's POV:

"Guys, this is Lila. Lila, meet the guys," Drake said nervously.

Upon hearing my name, all the brothers froze. Xander was the first one to break out of this trance, "Drake. We promised never to replace her."

Drake smiled, "I know, Xander. But this is really her. Lila show them your necklace."

I did so, still slightly confused. Instantly, the boys jaws dropped- even Alessandros.

"Not possible," Alessandro breathed, "she's gone."

"Who are you talking about?" I snapped.

"Look at her eyes!" Drake persisted, acting as if I hadn't spoken.

"Loads of people have blue eyes," Vito said, but even he looked like he was believing Drake.

Drake sighed, "how about this, we'll get a DNA test, sorry," he pulled out some strands of my hair and I yelped in protest, "and then we'll see?"

Xander stormed off, but the others agreed hesitantly.

"Could you please give me a moment," I said, comprehension dawning on me.

"Whatever you need Teresoro," Drake smiled but the others glared at him.

I went outside the house and walked a few paces in the garden before sitting down at a stone bench. Sighing deeply, I looked up to the Heavens. Drake thought I was his sister. The long lost Vincenti sister. But, I can't be! I'm just... me. Cold, plain boring Lila with no family.

"Listen here, (beep)," I heard a voice growl, it was Xander, "you may have fooled Drake and the others, but you won't fool me. I see you for what you really are. A stupid orphan girl who wants to weasel her way into the family. Well guess what," he took a step closer but I held my ground, "you won't succeed," he grabbed my arm and I inhaled sharply. It was where a bruise that hadn't fully healed was.

Xander smirked, "aww, did the little orphan girl get hurt?" Giving it a tight squeeze, he walked off.

Rubbing my arm, I glared at the cocky idiot's back.

Just a few days, Lila, I thought, when the DNA results come back negative, you can run again.

Groaning slightly, I went back to the house, mentally preparing myself for a few days of torture.
X
Drakes POV:

After Lila had left to clear her head, the others rounded on me- yelling about how stupid I was, bringing a random girl into our midst. However, I knew she was our sister.

Xander came in, looking throughly angry, shortly followed by Lila who was rubbing her wrist.

"Follow me and I'll show you to your room," I smiled, deciding not to comment on the obvious tension in the room.

Lila didn't reply. As we left the room, I could feel the burning stares following us.

"Come on, neonata, it's this way," I gestured up the large spiral stairway.

"So you really think I'm your sister, huh?" Lila asked, her face betraying little emotion.

"I don't think it, I know it," I said, stopping outside white wooden doors.

This was to be Lila's room if she hadn't been taken. One entire wall was a window with a beautiful view outside. There was a queen sized bed with a chest of drawers next to it and a large walk in wardrobe.

"Woah," Lila's jaw dropped, "you guys really must love your sister."

I smiled and told her to get ready in half an hour for dinner, when I'd formally introduce her to everyone.

Lila's POV:

After Drake left, I quickly checked the room for any hidden cameras and for a place to hide my gun and valuables. I found a secret compartment in the wardrobe for the latter and couldn't find any cameras.
Sighing (for the hundredth time that day) I took a shower. I winced a bit as the water hit some bruises and cuts but overall, it was a pleasant experience. I quickly got changed in some black jeans and a ratty white t-shirt and my signature hoodie. I looked at the room and silently made plans for redecorating it.

Stop Lila, I chastised myself, you're leaving in a few days.

Why do I feel so sad about that?

Shaking myself from my thoughts, I checked my phone and saw it was time to go down for dinner. I was unsure about the other brothers but I feel like I could trust Drake.

Walking down the really long stairs, I accidentally bumped into Xander. Did he wave it off and continue walking? If you guessed no, you're learning.

"Stupid girl," he snapped, "watch where you're going!" He pushed me.

Suddenly, I was assaulted by a flashback, NO! Stupid brain.

Flashback:
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" A boy who looked like he was half gorilla towered over me.
I shrank slightly away from him and Gorilla smirked. He reached out to grab me but was stopped by another hand.
"I don't think so," the newcomer glared, "touch her and die." Gorilla looked like he'd wet his pants. He nodded and quickly ran.
"Come on, Lils," newcomer grinned, "let's go get some ice cream!"

I opened my eyes with a gasp. A flicker of concern passed over Xander's features but it was gone as quickly as it came. He rolled his eyes and gestured me to follow him, which I did.

I entered the room and was instantly greeted with the scent of pizza. I saw the brothers sat at a round table with different pizzas adorned on the table.

"Broccoli pizza?" I raised an eyebrow.

Drake grinned sheepishly, "yeah?"

I shook my head and chuckled slightly. I moved to sit on the only free spot next to Xander, but he was glaring so I opted to sit on the floor.

Drake frowned and opened his mouth to say something, but I quickly changed the conversation, "so, how old are you all?"

Alessandro went first, "Alessandro, 24."
"Axel, 22."
"Drake, 20."
"Xander, 18," he glared at me and I mentally rolled my eyes.
"Olly, 16," he smiled at me, "Nice to meet you, Lila."
I returned the gesture, "Lila, 14 nearly 15." The. I put a couple slices of pizza and began eating.

Cue the awkward silence.

"So," Drake coughed, "I've sent the hair and we should get the results some time tomorrow."
My eyebrows furrowed, "so soon?"

Olly smirked, "we're pretty rich."

I mentally rolled me eyes. These brothers were filthy rich and spoil, "cool. May I be excused?"

Drake frowned, "You've barely eaten anything!"

"I ate a big breakfast," I lied. Fortunately, Drake shrugged and said I could go. I nodded and began washing my plate. I then dried it and carefully put it in place and practically sprinted to my room.

Without even changing, I slipped under the covers and fell into a deep sleep. Today had been very chaotic.
