I tried to yank my arm away, but he pulled me back. "Just stop trying. You're not going anywhere."

I heard the front door open and a big burly man staggered in- obviously drunk.

"Noah! Who's this?" He asked, his words slurring together.

"No one, dad." He tugged my arm towards his bedroom again.

"Please help!" I cried out. "He's trying to kill me!"

"Now, Noah. Why are you trying to kill this young girl?" God, why did he have to be drunk. He thought I was playing a game.

"She's a tease, dad! She's a whore! I'm just teaching her a lesson!" Noah said, sounding more like a whinny kid.

Suddenly the drunk man's face went dark a serious. "If there is one thing I hate more than any other thing. It's a tease. Go teach her a lesson son."

Was he serious? I was in so much disbelief that I lost my footing and Noah dragged me in his room and closed the door.

"Please, please just let me go! Please!" I screamed.

Noah threw me on the bed and put all of his weight on me. I tried to more but I was crushed under his body, I felt like I could barely breathe.

I was seeing dark circles in my vision and I realized I wasn't breathing. I felt Noah's hand all over my body. I could hear the front door slam and feet pounding up the stairs. I could see the light spilling in from the hallway as someone opened the door.

What I didn't feel was air getting into my lungs. My head was dizzy and my hands and feet were numb. I felt the blood draining out of my face.

And I finally felt the pressure on my body release when Noah was thrown on the ground. I curled on my side and started gasping for air. My vision wasn't back yet but I heard the voice loud and clear.

"Haven't you learned yet? You are never going to get away with this! Stay away from her!" I heard Chris yell.

I heard one of the body's collapse to the floor I felt a hand grab my arm. I yanked it away and rolled to the other side of the bed, but it found me again.

"It's me, Chris. Now come one before he wakes up!" I let him yank me off the bed, but I stumbled and feel to the floor. Why was my vision not coming back yet?

Chris picked me up in hi arms and ran down the stairs and out of the house. He set m down in front of his car and opened the door. "Get in." I heard him shout as he ran to the driver's side.

He started the car and sped down the street. We sat in silence for a while as my vision finally cleared.

"Chris, thank you. I have no clue what I would have done if you didn't show up-"

He cut me of with a wave of his hand. "You would be dead probably. Why don't you listen to me? You go to a guy who has raped you and beaten you, and you completely ignore a guy who would do anything for you and is madly in love with you! God, Katt! And I am extremely pissed at you right now, but I am so happy you're okay."

"I'm sorry. I should have listened to you." I said in a small voice.

"Damn right you should have." We were almost to his house now.

"And for what it's worth, I'm in love with you, too. And I am so sorry." I felt tears in my tears, blurring my vision.

He stopped the car and pulled over to the side of the road. He pulled me into him and hugged me. I have no clue how long we sat like that- could have been minutes, seconds, or hours. But by the time we started driving again I felt good. I felt more like myself than I have in a long time.

I am Katherine Swanson. I am a strong beautiful girl. I have a guy that I love and cloves me back. I have a family who loves me. And I have a huge surprise waiting for me at Chris's house.
