Hallucinations (chappy 4)

JEFFS POV:
I paced back and forth the room, pondering in my own thoughts. After the little incident at the pool, I just felt like I had to get out of there. I didn't feel safe, I was getting some sort of bad vibe and I didn't like it. That man gave me the chills, so I left. Where did he even come from? I don't remember seeing him at the dock before we boarded. I shrug. Ben is still back at the pool swimming, I left splendy on ben duty while I wasn't there. I had to lie just to get away, I don't like lying to ben at all but it was necessary. I just told him I wasn't feeling well and quickly made my way back.

I pulled the curtains on the bed back and fell on my stomach releasing a loud groan. Maybe it was just a hallucination? But it felt soo real! All this thinking was giving me a headache, so I left it and decided on a nap. I grabbed my eye shade (sleeping mask) off the bedside table and put it over my eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.

-CRAASH CRACK!-

" What the fuck? " I startled awake with a jolt and ripped the eye mask off my face, looking around in search of the noise. I look around the room curiously before my eyes land in the corner to where laughing jacks most prized possession has been knocked over. How in the hell? Maybe it was the wind? But, the window isn't open..

I furrow my eyebrows and get up out of bed walking towards the chair. As I'm fixing it up, setting it neatly back into the corner, I can't help but feel someone's eyes burning into my back. Someone's hard glare. Gulping, my feet spin them self around without a second thought and I'm soon face to face with my nightmare. He was standing by the door, his hands tucked into his leather jacket and his hood disguising his unseen face. His breathing was rapid and hoarse, kind of scary.

I was backed up against the wall in the corner unable to move, my body wouldn't let me. I was frozen and tempted to kill this stranger, but even though he gave off a bad aura something was still telling me no.

He reached his arm forward and took a step. I lunged my hand around ready to grab my knife and spill guts, but loud foot steps and the door being swung open stopped me. My mystery guest quickly disappears in a puff of black smoke and in comes ben screaming like a girl

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh splendy please don't!" He screams with laughter as splendor-man runs in after him, bens towel twisted in a twirl as he whips him on the ass. My eyes widen in amusement and I look at splendy as ben scurries behind me holding onto my waist.

"HE STARTED IT!" Splendy yells like a child stomping his foot on the ground. He throws the towel on the bed and frowns.

"NO! NUH UH! You started it! You're the one that threw my hat in the pool!" Ben argues back.

"THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR RIDING MY TENTACLES IN THE WATER LIKE A SEAHORSE BEN!" Wait. He rode what like a seahorse? Ben sighs obviously defeated and splendor-man smirks, proud of himself.

"I don't even want to know guys.." I chuckle walking into the bathroom looking at my reflection in the mirror. Hm, I seem to have gotten paler. I trace the scars on my face and the gashes on my mouth gently as memories flood through my head of how I got them.

"Aren't I beautiful mommy?" "Y-Yes.. Let m-me just go show your father.." "Honey wake up! Our son has gone insane" "Mommy! YOU LIED!" I clench my eyes shut as I remember what I did. I miss my parents I really do, but they lied to me! They deserved to die. As for Liu? Oh god Liu, I'm so sorry. Tears threaten to spill and I wipe my eyes hearing the door shut outside, indicating splendy had left.

Soon after I feel Ben's small arms wrap firmly around my waist and his head rest on my shoulder. I smile a little leaning my head against his and intertwining our hands together. We stayed like that for a while in silence, a comfortable silence.

"J-Jeff?"

"Yes ben?" I sigh, lowering my eyes to the ground.

"What's wrong? You've been acting off every since we went to the pool. Have I done something wrong?" He says, his voice becoming low and sad.

"N-no.." I state simply and he frowns, letting go of my waist rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.

"If it's me just tell me jeff... And I'll lea---" I can't take it anymore. I can't stand it when he blames himself for things that aren't his fault, it makes me feel awful. Before he can finish his sentence I spin around and press my finger to his lips hushing him as his little red eyes widen in curiousity. He raises his eyebrows and I move my fingers then quickly peck his pink lips and watch him blush.

"I'm fine, lets just go to bed. It's getting late anyway" I say as the moon peers through the bathroom window beautifully. Ben smiles and nods taking my hand walking towards the bed, we both strip down to our boxers and pull the sheets back getting under them. Ben wiggles closer towards me and I wrap my arm around his waist pulling him against me for warmth, his head rested on my chest as he listens to my steady heart beat. His scent fills my nose and I sigh happily hearing his soft snores echo through the room, my eyes soon growing heavy as I drift off slowly.

"I love you.." I mumble before I'm completely taken over by sleep.

I know it was probably crappy! But it's better than nothing and I tried right?

I've been having mental blanks lately and it's doing my head in. I also have no inspiration, I'm feeling homesick I guess. I miss my sister, I had to leave her the other day to come back to my real mom. It's lonely now..

Anyway! Next update should be Friday or Saturday c': xxx
