When people usually think of a Wild West story they think of a good guy that saves a damsel and they live happily ever after. Well what if the damsel saved the bad guy and they lived happily ever after. Though if you asked me I was a good guy with a bad reputation, Josie is the damsel that you would expect perfect features perfect life with everything going good for her.
Anyways I'm getting carried away guess I should start with when we met. Well I was in the saloon knocking a few, well more than a few but I'm too scared to say the actual number, back after robbing a bank a few towns over, and this is before the annoying deputy's come to take me to the station and put me behind bars.
When I walked (stumbled) out of there I strolled down the street where my horse was waiting for me so we could hit the road out of here. I saw a guy grabbing a girl and taking her out of the town with people trying to get him, but he's a fast rider. I shouldn't associate myself with this I'm about to be put in jail making a show of how I saved a girl isn't going to change anything.
But she needs my help, I sigh while untying my horse, then I take after the rider, which apparently other members of the community decided to do. They are no where near able to catch up, so I race forward as I see him become closer and closer till I'm right behind him. The feeling of riding a running horse is amazing when you have the wind in your face, but right now I need to get this lady home.
Once I get close enough I get the girl's attention I motion for her to duck and once she does I jump onto the rider pushing him off the saddle as both of us fall to the ground. Before I can get up he pulls his gun out and aims it at me, I raise my hands then knock the gun out of his hands as it goes off and I hit him in the jaw knocking him out.
"That's no way to treat a lady." I adjust my hat then turn to the girl, and help her off the horse I catch her as she stumbles into my arms.
It feels like hours, but I get a better look at the girl I saved. Her brown eyes and pouty lips are perfect as her hair is up into a bun with a few curly strands out, but it seems like it was on purpose. I set her down on her feet and she brushes the dust off her dress then I see the sheriff ride up to us.
"Are you alright Josie."
"I'm fine Dorian. This lady saved me."
He gives me a sharp glare and adjusts his belt.
"I know very well who she is. Hope Mikaelson, you know what's going to happen to you now that you've been caught."
"I'm sure you'll tell me."
He grabs my wrists then handcuffs them together which makes the girl, Josie, get a confused look on her face.
"Why is she being arrested she saved me."
"Well what you don't know is Hope here has been robbing banks for a long time. When was the first time? Your father was with you."
"Twelve. I was twelve. Can I get my cell now, I want to see what I'm working with."
Dorian hooks my horse to his then gets me onto his horse and we take Josie home. Her mother I'm assuming runs up to her hugging her tightly as the two hold onto each other like they've never done it before.
"Josette, Josie. You may take this horse this miscreant won't be needing him anymore."
"Please, don't do that he was my father's it's all I got of 'im"
"Well I guess you should've thought of that before robbing those banks." He hand the reigns to the mom then walks his horse with me on it to the jail. He gets me off the horse and walks me inside then shoves me into the cell, then locks it.
