In a world where AI's and humans live in peace and harmony, there's a story that comes from the most unlikely of places. A world where an AI named Hope Mikaelson and a human Josie Saltzman fall in love. Hope Mikaelson, made by her "parents" Klaus and Hayley Mikaelson. They were told that they were unable to have kids, but that didn't stop them from trying.
Hope Mikaelson. Who was programmed in Mystic Falls on May 2, 2067. When Hope was finished being programmed they raised the teenage-looking girl as their own child. They programmed her to be kind, thoughtful, funny, and of course charming. The most important Mikaelson trait in Klaus' opinion.
Josie Saltzman. Born in Mystic Falls born on March 15, 2050. Her parents are Alaric and Josette Laughlin and has a twin named Lizzie Saltzman. Another thing that you will notice about the brunette is that she is a technological goddess. If you asked her she said it wasn't a big deal, but she made her own computer and robot by age 10. Her thick glasses make it easier for her to work on each wire with a concentration that is rarely broken.
She loves the way that she can manipulate the wires to do what she wants, the only problem with this. Her dad hates AI's and anything to do with wires sure he has a phone and a TV but anything else he despises. That's why Josie works on her projects in her small shop in town.
And that's when she met her. When she was working in her shop on Main street an auburn haired girl walked through the front doors, which took Josie by surprise since nobody ever came in here. So when Josie saw the auburn haired girl her breath was taken away by the blue-eyed beauty.
"Hi, can I help you?" Josie asks pushing her glasses up with her ring finger.
"I saw you working in here and became curious. I have never seen someone work on machines like that." She speaks softly.
The voice takes Josie's breath away too (not knowing that Hope is an AI) how could someone so beautiful take interest in someone like her.
"Oh, well do you wanna see?" Josie asks nervously rubbing her forearm.
"I would appreciate the gesture."
Josie giggles dorkily at the girl's vocabulary. But the girl just tilts her head in confusion, and it almost looked mechanical. Josie clears her throat already feeling the heart palpitations being around the cute girl. She motions behind her by swinging her arm backward down nearly knocking over a computer chip she was working on.
She fumbles to catch it and before it falls, crashing into a million pieces a hand reaches out and takes the chip in her hand. They stand up straighter as Hope dwindles it between her fingers like a magician with his lucky card. Josie adjusts her glasses then ocean blue eyes pierce hers as Hope looks at her with her own curiosity.
The auburn haired girl looks the brunette up and down taking the girl's appearance in. Analyzing the way she picks at the buttons on her sleeves and the white tattered lab coat hanging off slim shoulders. A pocket protector with small tools sticking out, the way the brown-eyed girl tucks her bottom lip between her teeth and traps it there.
The holed jeans show the scraped-up knees on both sides and she certainly doesn't miss how when Josie talks she pushes her hair out of her face even though most of it is put into a ponytail. This intrigues the AI making her curious on what the girl operates on, what makes her function if not wires and batteries.
"Based on how you stand in front of me I would infer that you are nervous. Perhaps by something I said?" The auburn haired girl ponders out loud.
"I guess it's because I've never really talked to pretty girls before or anyone for that matter."
"So you find my appearance intriguing?"
