I feel hands on my waist being pulled away so I turn around and cling to the warm surface.
"Nooo. Don't leave. I want to stay in this bed forever." I whine.
A small laugh makes me open my eyes to see Hope sitting up against the headboard. I tilt my head up and give her a few chaste kisses. I lay my head on her bare stomach.
"I am so glad that you came to shoot for me that day."
"I am too. Because now I am the happiest person on this planet." I look up and sit on her lap straddling her waist.
"Oh really? Cause I feel pretty happy." I smile down at her.
She shakes her head as I snake my arm around her neck making the sheet fall, exposing our naked bodies. As our kisses become more sensual the door gets a few knocks on the door. I sigh as I fall to the side and Hope yells to give them a moment.
After we got married we moved to Hope's castle in Iceland and it is nothing like it's name. Though I will say meeting her father and mother was a bit scary. I swear it looked like they were gonna murder someone over the littlest thing. I found that they are just very protective of Hope which I understand and now we all are very happy with how everything turned out.
After we get our clothes on the maids come in and help me tighten my corset and they help Hope put her hair up into a bun and clip her sword to her belt. Then the prime adviser, Maya, walks in with her scroll and quill who looks like she's on a mission.
"Good morning your highnesses. Now today Josette your parents and family are coming to visit for today being the day that you dedicate your child."
Did I forget to mention that Hope and I have a kid. Milton became a close friend afterward and so he helped by getting me pregnant so Hope and I could have a kid. Hope and I are very happy so today is the day we do the christening and such. Meaning our families are coming to see the little one. I am very excited to see them again I haven't seen them since the wedding.
"Thank you Maya." Hope says.
"I actually need you Hope to help go over some of the other plans with meeting with the captain and such so I'm gonna need you to come with me."
Hope sighs then kisses my cheek and follows Maya out while the maids continue to help me get prepared to meet my family. Then I walk around telling people where everything needs to be and all I want to do is go for a ride through the woods and shoot my bow.
As I walk through the castle I see Hope up ahead talking with Maya. I walk up to the two and Hope notices me first immediately a smile plastered to her face.
"Hi."
"Hey."
"I have some things to take care of." Maya excuses herself then walks off. I take Hope's hands and rub the back of her hand with my thumb.
"Do you want to go on a ride with me?" I ask.
Hope looks around then drags me as we run down the halls towards the stables. I giggle and Hope laughs like kids sneaking out to the garden. We get onto our horses while our bow gipped in our hand and the quiver strapped to our back.
Our reigns in one hand as we take off in a gallop towards the forest not far away from the castle. The biggest smile on our faces as we shoot arrows at the trees on horseback. We haven't had much chance to do it since becoming queens over both of our kingdoms.
Now with a child it will become harder and harder for time together. So I'm just trying to spend as much time with her as I can. As we slow down after a few hours of riding and firing arrows. We stop at a cliff that over looks the village.
