Chapter 13

Y/N's POV

I woke up this morning with a pounding head ache and puffy eyes with cheeks stained from tears. Last night was kind of a  rough but I am very very thankful of Kiyoko who has been by my side for the past 24 hours. I sat up and saw Kiyoko was still fast asleep on the other side of the bed, so I got up quietly and walked down stairs to make some breakfast for us. I walked over to the fridge and grabbed the eggs and frying pan out. 

While I was singing along to the music my phone went off with a message. I put down the spatula and opened up my phone it was a text from Kuroo. I smiled and opened it up.

'hey ! I heard what happened!! word travels fast through the volleyball teams...Lmao.' I let go of a light laugh as it was very true word does fly fast. 

Kuroo and I have always been friends since we were kids, nothing romantic about it we used to live in the same street so we would always play around as kids. Eventually kuroo went to Nekoma high school and we separated but tried to keep in touch. 

'Hey! yeah unfortunately it did happen, but what can I do lmao...' I text back. by the time I turned around Kiyoko was walking down the stairs and lightly smiled at me. 

"Good morning." I smiled at her while grabbing a plate out of the cupboard.

"How are you feeling this morning?" She asked me while taking a sip of water.

"I'm doing ok, Fell a bit tired but better then last night, but I just want to say thank you so much for staying with me last night." I handed her a plate of scrambled eggs and smiled at her.

"Hey look its not a problem I love you just like my own little sister and seeing you hurt, hurt me to and I hate that. I texted daichi this morning actually and they are on their way to yell at Asahi" Kiyoko laughed. 

"Oh really.. damn, well I just got a text from Kuroo saying he found out about what happened, Word sure does travel fast" I lightly laughed.

"It sure does trust me" kiyoko laughed again.

I had a quick check of my phone while eating my breakfast and I got another text from kuroo. Opening it up I smiled at the text.

"How about I come over today and we can hang out, watch movies. Just like the old times" I laughed to my self and responded with a yes it would be great. 

I haven't seen Kuroo in a while so it will be good to see hi again. 

"I'm going to go home now so I can freshen up and get to the gym, Ukai wants me over to discuss a few things about the up coming games." Kiyoko put her plate in the sink and washed it up.

"That's not a problem, thank you so much again for everything I really cant thank you enough." I gave Kiyoko a quick hug and a good bye.

After Kiyoko left I decided to clean up the kitchen and go up stairs to clean my room. I put all the rubbish in the bin and pulled my covers over my bed. I opened the window and smelt the light trickling smell of rain.  

I got dressed into a pair of shorts and my t shirt. I brushed the knots out of my hair and applied some thin make up so it didn't look like I was crying all night. I walked down stairs and sat on the sofa while just scrolling through my phone with the tv playing. 

There was a knock on the door and I new it was Kuroo. I jumped up and made my way to the door. As i opened up the door  a gust of wind hit my face and I saw Kuroo standing there in a navy blue jumper and a pair of black skinny jeans on his hands were in his hoodie jumper making him look like he was pretty cold.

"HI" I smiled giving him a massive hug.

"How are you" He hugged me back squeezing me tightly. Kuroo smelt of Fresh mint gum.

I stepped back and allowed him to walk inside out of the cold.

"Oh its so much nicer in here, It's freezing out there" he laughed while walking into the lounge room.

"Oh I know I felt the wind as soon as I opened the door. Would you like a hot chocolate?" I asked from the kitchen door way.

"Oh yes please!" He yelled from the lounge room.

While I was pouring the hot water into both our cups Kuroo came in making me jump a bit.

"Ok so I brought a few movies over, I vote we watch The night mare before Christmas first." He said while smiling brightly. 

"OK yes I agree one hundred percent!" I giggled while passing him his hot chocolate. We both walked into the lounge room placing out mugs on the coffee table. 

"I only have one blanket, come closer." I laughed while holding the blanket open for him. He laughed and jumped from the other side of the couch onto me making me yelp as he landed on top of me. 

"You do remember you are not as small as you used to be, you cant just jump around now." I laughed while snuggling into the blanket while grabbing the remote to find the movie. 

"Oh you don't think I know that ! trust me I get told that every day at practice by Kenma." He laughed taking a sip of his drink. 

The best part about all this is that Kuroo hasn't asked me to explain what happened once and honestly I think he already knows most of it and I really don't want to explain it once again. 

Kuroo moved his legs over, and he looked at me. 

"DO you want my jumper?" Kuroo asked me.

"No because then you will be cold." I laughed still watching the movie.

Kuroo then through his jumper onto my lap and i looked at him, he didn't have a shirt on and it was showing his six pack of abs, I felt my cheeks redden slightly. Kuroo defiantly isn't the small child he used to be.

"Are you sure?" I laughed yet again, he nodded so I slipped the massive hoodie over the top of my clothes, it was really warm since Kuroo had been wearing it.

We were now onto our third movie and we have eaten heaps and joked around, I was now feeling really tired, we were watching Monsters INC. I rested my head onto Kuroo's shoulder and started to feel my eyes become heavier. Before I new it I had fallen asleep on his shoulder while watching the movie.

I soon felt Kuroo lay my head onto the couch as he got up, I heard him walk to the front door and he opened it. I quickly jumped up and ran to the hallway to see him with the door only opened wide enough to see his body. 

"What do you want." I heard him say in a deep voice.

It couldn't be who I think it is... Could it !?

Kuroo closed the door and looked at me surprised that I was awake.

"Who was that" I asked in confusion 

"Asahi" He rolled his eyes and I felt my heart drop yet again 

"He ran back home." He laughed, I stood there starring at him trying to process what just happened.

Kuroo grabbed my shoulder and we started to walk towards the lounge room.
