For the past month, I felt like someone was always watching me but it might just be me being paranoid. But it's weird, sometimes I hear the floor creak and doors close, but like I said it's probably just me being paranoid.

"Babe did you hear me" Landon asked as he lowered the volume on the TV.

"No...sorry I didn't" I apologized

"It's ok... I just asked what were your plans for thanksgiving"

I honestly didn't have any plans.

"Well my parents are somewhere hiking a mountain or something... and Veah is spending it with Calvin and his family" I said

'Damn I feel like nobody love me' I thought jokingly

"Well why don't you spend it my family" he suggested smiling.

"Really?.. I wouldn't want to impose" I said

"Nala your coming" he said

"Well I guess I'm going" I said not really having a choice.

"Well you didn't have a choice" he said smiling and rubbing my thigh slowly

"boy bye-.."I said rolling my eyes.

"Landon come with me to the grocery store please" I said hugging him from the back.

I was planning on making a caramel apple streusel pie from scratch. It was my grandma's recipe and she made it every thanksgiving. Even after she died, I still made it every thanksgiving.

"Baby you don't have to make anything" he said turning around to hug me by my waist.

"But I make it every thanksgiving though" I said grabbing my keys and wallet. "So let's go" I said opening the door.
...................

We were by the fruit section when a little girl came up to us.

"I lost my parents can you help me" she said

She looked to be at least 4 years old.

"Who leaves a kid this small unsupervised" Landon said

"Yea we'll help you. What's your name sweetie" I said crouching down to her level.

"Alana" she said.

"Well that's a pretty name Alana. Let's go find you parents" I said grabbing her hand while Landon pushed the cart.

As we looked for her parents, I found the ingredients I needed along the way.

"MOMMY! DADDY!" the girl yelled as she let go of my hand and ran to her mother.
