/ ;; hiii! I just wanna say that this piece is actually for my creative writing class! I hope you like it if you end up reading it :)
I adore her eyes. delicate, fair and blue.
like glass from the sea, fragile, yet strong. they look in
admiration and hope for the future, though, fears what may
be in store, as not every soul behind a pair of eyes are as
kind and caring as hers.
her soft, delicate gaze reveals vulnerability, yet
kindness, leaving those to choose how they treat her.
where she could bring smiles to faces around her, there were
others who did not give in to those sweet, endearing eyes. others
who did not know of such a kind hearted girl, being as fragile as
her own skin.
those who chose to abuse her kindness only received more
positivity and affection from the happy-go-lucky girl, although
each time her heart would ache. she was greatly set on changing
the corrupted minds of others, that she neglected herself and her
own feelings, and that lead to her own destruction.
and sad she was, again, for this child did not know of cruelty
until this day. she did not understand heartbreak and depression,
misdirection and unfairness. she was not aware of all the
negativity this world had held, and surely had no idea that
any of this negativity could easily corrupt a fragile soul such
as hers.
naivety filled those tear struck, aquamarine orbs.
what was once beautiful, turned out to be something dull,
ruined, as it rained again. down, down, poured the rain, where
the once happy, cheerful eyes, were sad again.
she cried, in a world where both good and evil lurked. her
tears fell, revealing her happiness, sadness, and her fear. her
true emotions shed from those eyes, and if one would look away,
they would never truly know her kind soul.
and there was never a day where her smiling eyes
revealed something unreal. she is as real as those beautiful,
blue eyes that shine each day. her eyes being the sun, and
knowing that it's okay if there's a few rainy days every now
and then.
