Renee was beginning to lose her patients, having been sitting in the police office interrogation room for about 15 minutes now. At the time she had a lot of things running through her mind, like the fact she was only going to get a dollar and her fucking sister was going to get half of her father's fortune. How the fuck is that shit fair he wasn't even her real dad.

Little about the facts of why she was sitting in the police station was on her mind, she had not even asked about her son and she knew he was with his dad. Just as she was about to get up and just walk out one detective comes in and sits down across from her placing a folder down on the table.

"Ahem....I'm very sorry for the long wait but we were trying to make sure we worked everything out. We're also sorry because we know that you and your family are grieving...."

Renee still inpatient puts up her hand not caring that she was talking to a homicide detectives asking him to stop. "That's fine, but may you please explain to me what's going on? What happen to my husband really?"

The cop opens the folder and then slides some photos in front of Renee, she forgot that there was a role to play. A role of hurting, once she found out the full story of what happen to her husband Michael. She had to remember not to let it be known that she seen the scene before.

What an act she put on throwing her hands up to her face in shock, "Ahh....Oh my God! What happen? Who would do this? I mean don't get me wrong we were dealing with a separation so I don't know what he was involved in but this looks like over kill. Do you know who did this?"

The detective knew his role keep up the act to get her to lock herself in a story before he let her know what was really going on.

"No we don't Mrs. Brooks, that's why we brought you here. Do you have any idea, who may have wanted to hurt your husband? Did he have any enemies?"

Shaking her head no, "I have no idea, he was such a great guy, are you sure that maybe it wasn't a robbery gone wrong?"

"We were thinking that but as we looked more and more there wasn't anything taken, not even his wallet. This just seem like an over kill, very personal in a way. Clare had her throat cut but your husband was stabbed more than 6 times and a cut throat, very bloody, the only person not touched in this massacre was your son Max."

It was then when Renee realize she forgot about her son, she had not even asked about him at all. She wanted to kick herself for that, because she knew not asking about her kid looked like she didn't care.

"My son, where is he? I know he needs his mother right now."

Her comment made the detective smirk, a smirk he was quick to get rid of before she notice. "Your son is fine he is here actually in well trusted hands."

"Okay can you bring him to me, we're almost done here anyway right? I mean I don't know what else I can tell you, we were separated I don't know what he was doing or who he was dealing with."

The detective stands up and points at her seat telling her the interrogation wasn't over and she needed to set back down.

"Interrogation? What am I being interrogated for.... I had nothing to do with this. You can't keep me here and now I am ready to leave, so you can go get my son, we are leaving now!"

"Mrs. Brooks you will be able to see your son but you will not be leaving with him...."

Again interrupting the cop, Renee has an outburst demanding they bring Max to her and that she was done listening to them and was leaving.
