ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

MAMA ON THE RUN

Renee couldn't believe she was waking up in a jail cell, the night before was the most scariest, unbelievable, wake up call she has ever experienced in her life. When she had to go through booking reality was not the place she wanted to be in, she couldn't believe what they were asking her. The correctional officers went beyond just patting her down, when she was joined in the rest room by a female officer first having to undress in front of her, then was fondled she was able to mentally exit her mind. But when she was told she had to remove her underwear to squat and cough that was a violation Renee was not going to do so she began to curse out the officer and the two got into a physical fight. Renee is known to have a mouth and talk a good game like she is really some tough girl but this was actually her first fight, she was taken down and placed into what is called 'The Restraint Chair'. Being strap down in that chair so many things ran through her mind, mainly about how she knew she couldn't do prison and needed to find a way out. Once the officer thought she had calm down enough and was willing to finish going trough booking they released her from the chair.

Finally able to call her mother, she got the biggest disappointment in her life, "Mom, I need your help...."

"My help? Your locked up, your career is over. I saw you, your all over the news, you never listen, I told you this was going to happen."

"I know that mother, I don't need to hear an 'I told you so', what I need is to know is what do I do to get out of here. I can't stay here mother this place is disgusting. Not only do I have to deal with guards feeling me up but also other inmates eyeing me like I'm a buffet."

"All I can tell you is to learn to love the taste pussy and ready to spread those legs of yours when told. I know for a fact your not a fighter and protection is something you will be needing, an ex model your in for it sweetie. Also make sure you hire yourself a good lawyer, this being your first offense and your so called victims still being alive you may not get a lot of time."

"What!? That's it mother? That's all you got to say to me? Their asking questions about daddy, what do I say about that? I'm not going down for all of this shit by myself."

"Down for all of what? I had nothing to do with you wanting to kill your husband. If things were that bad between you two and you came to talk to me I would have suggested you try therapy sweetie. If you thought this would be a prison break phone call I'm sorry but no. I didn't put you in and I can't get you out. When it comes to the police asking questions about your father death they can fish all they want."

"Mother I need more than that, you know what I'm talking about. All this shit that's going on was your idea, you can't just dessert me like this, your my mother."

The next thing Renee hears in the back ground is what she thought could have been a speaker, she knew then her mother was leaving New York to God knows where, she was on her own.

"I'm sorry but I have nothing to say about what your talking about I do need to get going, I decided to take a vacation to help me heal and move on from your father's death."

Cynthia hangs up with not even a goodbye. Renee sees her mother was really leaving her to go down for everything by herself. For the first time in her life once she was put into her cell she laid down and cried like a baby. Thinking to herself if she could only go back, she would do so many things differently, be a loving sister and daughter, mother, wife. She cried and cried that whole night, the guards kept an eye on her wondering if they should put her on suicide watch but there was no need, she just cried herself to sleep.
