DAY 1
I parked my stolen bicycle next to my house and knocked on the door. I looked back to see if Logan was still around, but he wasn't.
Taylor opened the door almost too immediately. "Hey, you're late."
I dropped my bag on the shoe rack and threw my shoes. "I'm sorry." I apologized.
"Its okay." He said. "Don't be late again. I get so worried."
"I can see that." I said, sticking my tongue out at him. "Did you eat?"
"Yeah." He said, scratching his head. "I took an aspirin too. Did you?"
"Thank you. I didn't have dinner. I'm not very hungry, though. Can I skip on it?"
"Um, have some cereal." He said, or ordered. "Milk too."
"Okay." I said and dragged myself to the kitchen and got some cereals and milk. I sat back on the couch and gulped every one of them.
"I'm done!" I announced. "Can we talk a little? I'm not really sleep!"
Taylor sighed. But I was his little sister, he had to keep me happy. "Okay. What's the topic?"
"Love." I said as I felt my ears get hot and red. He smirked at me. "I bet my ear is red."
"Bloodshot." He added. "What about love?"
Whatever might be the personality of my brother, he knew a thing or two about love. "Do you believe in it?" I asked, with a spark of hope in me.
"I do." He said without hesitation. "I love you. I love Mom and Dad."
"Why?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. "Why do you believe in love?"
"It exists?" He said or asked. "Why are we talking about all this?"
"Nothing much." I lied. "Just a talk. So, what makes you believe in love?"
"You aren't recording this, are you?" He asked and laughed. I shook my head. "Love is a concept taught to us since we were kids. It seems to get on to you."
"But still," I pushed. "If you want to show anyone what love is, what would you do?"
"I don't know." He said and thought for a moment while I wiggled my toes. "I might show that person things that are related to love. Books, movies-"
I cut him as an idea came into my head. "Music!"
"Yeah, music too." He said. Taylor was a music freak. "Music can be really powerful."
"And brothers can be so amazing!" I said as I stood up, ready to go to bed. "Night, now, Tay."
"Sure." He said, uncertainly. "Sleep well, sis."
DAY 2
I started looking for love song videos and CDs next morning. I searched the attic and my room. In the end, I found all of them in Taylor's room.
After finishing up my breakfast, I bid goodbye to Taylor and went outside to look for my bicycle. I found it, but a car came and stopped right in front of my lawn and I sighed audibly.
"Ugh." I grunted. "Why are you here?"
Logan rolled his window down and smirked at me. "Good morning to you too. You know, little miss love, that's not a good way to greet someone. It's a really bad way. But I'm a gentleman."
"I can see that." I said sarcastically.
He chose to ignore my sarcasm. "Hop in. I'll drive you to school."
