Its been a year since graduation.

I never planned that one day I'd be losing you. I wonder if you still think about me Bokuto. Graduation was the last time I had seen Bokuto's face. I remember wishing him the best. I still remember his face and touch so vividly. His soft voice plays on repeat. I miss him so much.

I miss you Bokuto.

Graduation was a big blur for me. Nothing made sense to me anymore. I didn't want to be here. The warm bright lights from the sun broke through the windows and onto the floor, the golden colours cascading along the crimson curtains that draped the graduation stage, casting shadows on those who were sat in the crowd.

But these beautiful warm colours lit Bokutos face as he stepped onto the stage. His silk waistcoat and pants glistened in shades of grey and silver.

His golden eyes sparkled as he traced the room. Our eyes meet and I was met with the softest expression from Bokuto-san.

'this was it' I thought to myself.

A million thoughts ran through my mind. my lips trembled as I sat in the crowd with my head raised just enough to see Bokuto reach out for his certificate.

He shook hands with the principal and slowly began to step off the stage.

What was I waiting for?

I sat in my seat watching everyone leaving their seats and exiting through the doors. The sunset beamed through the doors. I couldn't move my feet. My eyes watered as I glanced over to where Bokuto was stood.

His fingers interlocked with her's. She embraced him as Bokuto stroked his soft hands through her brown locks.

'please stop' .

These words kept running through my head.

Why me?

That should have been me. A gust of wind flew though Bokuto-sans soft hair as he walked towards the school doors. Hands still intertwined, they walked through the white doors that were lit up with the sunset that seeped through.

It was beautiful.
I was happy for him.

As his friend I needed to bid him farewell with happy memories. I should have told you what you meant to me. Now, I'm having to pay the price. His muscular silhouette towered over her delicate figure. He glanced over to where I was still sat, lifting his arm to wave me goodbye.

My eyes overflowing with tears I reached out towards his hand.

I waved.
He was gone.

All what was left was me and the memories I shared with him. My hands draped onto my knees as my tears fell, creating a puddle on my hands. Still sat there, I began to cry. Everything I was holding in for so long over poured.

The emotions, the feeling, the tears, the screams. I couldn't control it.

The sun had set and what was left was a cold and empty hall, the curtains no longer having the bright colours they once had, the windows casted a grey shadow around the hall.

It was silent.

He wasn't a part of my life anymore. The light was no longer there. Bokuto's light was no longer there.

He was longer longer a part of my life.

I still think about you Bokuto. I wonder if you think about the thousands of memories we shared together.

Will I ever get to see that smile of yours? Will our paths cross again? Was it all just a waste?
