Heya! I was not sure what to write for this chapter but eventually I chose Jenna's side of the story(if you get what I mean..its not exactly a POV so yh..) . I decided that since I rushed things and left most things unexplained in the last chapter of Jenna, it would be better to write about that soon. So here it is.. *Hope I'm not talking too much :/*
Anyway, Enjoy this :)

Jenna

"Chloe I think it'd be better if I go with you to shop for your clothes." This earned Jenna an 'Are-you-serious?' look from Chloe. Her mother had really missed out on her life, she realised. Although, she missed Jenna when she was away, it still annoyed and hurt her that, her mother chose to live away from them. If Jenna had stayed, she'd have known that, Chloe didn't like to be treated like a kid( not that any teenager did), but she loved doing things her way since she thought of herself as an adult.

"Really. Since when did that start? That a seventeen year old girl went with her mother to shop for clothes for her birthday?"

Jenna looked at her daughter knowing she was right. She was just trying to be of help but she had to admit that her daughter was growing and that there were somethings that Chloe could do on her own. She also couldn't miss the accusation in Chloe's voice. It was as if her words had said "You wouldn't be saying this if you had been with us" instead of what came out of her mouth. She sent her daughter an apologetic smile before speaking.

"Alright. Are you going now?" Chloe nodded. After giving Chloe the money she needed, she took leave of her.

In a few minutes time, Nora-Chloe's best friend and Chloe, were on their way to 'New Looks', A boutique they spent most of their vacation going to.

"How about this top Nora?" Chloe asked, taking the blue tank top on the hanger and holding it against herself so that Nora could see.

"Nope. Not that. How about....." Nora disagreed without even looking at Chloe. She was busily checking out the complete outfits being showcased. "..this!" She exclaimed and now span around to look at Chloe, pointing to the outfit.

Chloe's eyes raked the clothes in the glass as though she hadn't seen it there initially. Nora had a smug smile on her face knowing that Chloe was falling in love with the dress.

The white sleeveless top with the lacefront covering above the bust,  combined with the red balloon high waist skirt, seemed like the perfect attire for her party. The lace created just the perfect V-shaped style to be continued by the white cotton fabric.

"I know, I know. Since we've now gotten a dress for you, its my turn." Nora snapped Chloe out of her trance, pulling her away from the glass case. All the while, Chloe kept her eyes on the outfit, making sure no one claimed it.

The girls paid for their clothes after Chloe had made sure that her attire was taken out of the case with so much care. Their next destination was the jewelry shop.

This time around, it was Chloe who found the perfect jewelry for herself and Nora. Her's being silver with diamonds and Nora's being silver with emeralds to match her dress.

After stopping by a food court, they headed home. Nora was sleeping over at Chloe's since the next day happened to be the party: not just an ordinary teenage party, but a fancy one at that. The girls spent the rest of their afternoon chatting and hence gossiping- the most natural thing been done when two or more girls met.

Having the house being packed with people moving about looking like they had no aim, was not something Chloe was going to put up with. After settling on visiting other friends, she and Nora left the house.

It wasn't until 11:30 that the house grew quiet. Jenna had gone to bed right after, considering the fact that she had to supervise all the cooking.
