~ Pov Harry ~

The next morning I show my friends the first footage of yesterday. Ash's eyes go wide while watching it with the rest of them. "I can't believe Louis said that and kissed you. Didn't expect it to go this fast, but I've got to say, Styles, you already have him in your power." I smile. "Yeah, I wasn't expecting him to kiss me either. Guess I do have more charm than I thought." "No, you don't," Mel says, "you have fucked up mind games. It has nothing to do with charm. Just with the fact that you're playing him without him having any clue."

I avoid her eyes staring at me and snatch my phone with the footage out of Ash's hands. "Hey! I was watching that!" "Yeah, for the third time. I think you saw enough. Besides there is much more to come." "I sure hope so," Luke says. "And I hope it'll be more than just a simple kiss. Because this way you're not completing the bet." "Don't worry," Zayn says as he comes between us. "Harry will finish it. Right, Harry?" I nod without looking away from Luke. "Yeah, without any trouble." "Really?," he asks, "because if you ask me, everything you said to him seems legit. Is it true? You really miss your faggot friend?"

I clench my teeth. "No. I don't. It's just a game, Luke. You should know that." I look over to Louis who stands at the other end of the hallway with his friends. "Louis means nothing to me. He's just easy to play." "So you aren't starting to feel guilty for your old buddy? You don't want to back out of this?" I clamp my jaws together. "You wish." Mel shakes her head. "Boys, stop acting like fucking idiots." Luke grins and turns all his attention to her. "You have a big mouth today, Melanie." He steps closer. "Not that I mind." His fingers touches her bottom lip. "I'm wondering what else it can do..." Without hesitation, she roughly takes his wrist and pushes him away. "Do not touch me again, asshole."

I turn towards Zayn as I ignore their conversation. "There might be a little problem though." Zayn frowns. "What do you mean?" "Yesterday Louis asked me if I was using him. He asked me if he was my bet." "And what did you tell him?" "I of course denied it. I think he believed me but I know he doesn't fully trust me. Not yet." Zayn bites his lip, thinking. "Shit. That's a problem."

He sighs as he looks at me. "You have to hang out with him more often. So he doesn't get suspicious. Act like you care about him, that he is important to you, that you do this with a reason. You have to get his trust." I frown. "But how? How do I show that-" "That you have feelings?," Mel interrupts me, grinning. I nod, ignoring her words. "Yeah. That." She shrugs. "It's simple. Ask him to a party, take him to the movies or to dinner." I frown. "You mean I have to take him on a date?" She laughs. "Yes! It's not like you've never asked anyone out before. This should be easy for you." I force a smile but she immediately sees trough me. Her mouth opens a bit in surprise but I give her a look. I never asked someone on a date before. I mean, I sleep with girls but I've never taken one on a date.

The bell rings and as soon as Ash, Luke and Zayn leave, Mel walks up to me with a smile. "I can't believe it. You've never had a date before!" I shrug. "Yeah. So what?" She shakes her head. "Nothing. I just thought you had." I sigh. "Well I haven't. So you better give me some advice." She smiles. "It's easy. Just be nice and friendly. But also be yourself. Be honest and ask him politely on a date. There is this party this Saturday, ask him if he wants to come with you as your date." "What if he says no?" "Then don't push it. Wait for another moment. But I don't think he'll say no to you, not after that kiss," she winks.

I lean against the wall as I wait for the teacher to come. "Harry, can I ask you something?" "Yeah. Of course." "Why haven't you been on a date before?" I look at Louis who's laughing with his friends. He doesn't notice me as I look at him, thinking about something he said yesterday. I smile a little. "Because I haven't been in love before."

~ Pov Louis ~

I feel Harry's eyes burn on my skin when I'm standing in the hall. I try to ignore him as Liam, Niall and I start a conversation about him. Niall gives me a little nudge. "And? How was yesterday? Did you two- You know. Have a good talk?," he winks. I roll my eyes, laughing. "Yeah. Kind of. He explained to me why he was being so weird. Turns out he just wants to hang out again. And you know Harry, he doesn't think twice, so he thought the best way to convince me was to kiss me." Liam raises his eyebrows. "So he didn't kiss you again? Good." I bite my bottom lip, looking at the ground. They notice. "Louis, please don't tell me he kissed you after telling you he just wants to be friends..."

"He didn't." Liam sighs with relief. "I kissed him." "What? Why would you do that?" I burry my face in my hands. "I don't know! It just came down to me that he wouldn't do it again and I couldn't help but thinking how good it was to-" I shake my head. "I just needed to do it one last time. I swear it won't happen again. We're just going to try to get along again, as friends, nothing more."

Liam shakes his head. "Okay, I believe you but I still think this is all weird. I mean, I don't get why he suddenly wants to be in your life again. It's just-" "The fact that it's Harry is bothering you?," I ask him. He nods. "Yeah. I'm sorry Louis, but I don't trust that guy." "Neither do I. But I asked him yesterday if I was his bet. He denied it," I say to him. "And you believe him?" "Yes. I do. But it doesn't mean that I trust him. So I'll be careful. You trust me, right?" He smiles. "Of course. You know I do. But I also care, Louis. I don't want to see you in pain."

I put my hand on his shoulder as the teacher walks by. "I promise I won't get hurt." He gives me a weak smile. "The thing is Louis, you won't break your promise. But someone else might," he says as he looks at Harry.
