The Truth Untold

Tomato

"Run" Hobi whispers to Jin who meets you at the door.

"Why?" He looks at Hobi as if he's lost his mind.

"Jin Jin!" Eunjoo runs up to Jin and throws herself in his arms. "Guess what song we learned today?"

Hobi quickly walks in the other direction, away from  what he is about to hear and disappears in the kitchen.

"What's that, gongjunim?" He smiles, nuzzling his nose against hers.

"The tomato song!" Jin's eyes get wide and he looks at you with a look of horror. "Please can we sing it, eomma said you all know it"

"Did she, now?" You hear from behind Jin. You grin at Yoongi.

"As if you had to even sing it,  you were mc that episode" Tae says behind you, having picked up Chae and Yong from their playdates.

"Home early?" You raise your eyebrow.

"Half day!" Chae grins, hugging your legs, followed by Yong.

"More like their parents had somewhere to be" Jimin smiles and hugs you.

"Oppa, unnie, do you know the tomato song?" Eunjoo giggles when Tae and Jimin groan.

"I still have nightmares about that song." Jimin says, running his fingers through his hair.

"Where is Korain?" You look at Jin. "He should have gotten out with them"

"Relax, your appa met us there and offered to take one of them. He's on his way. Look, there he is"  Tae kisses your hair and walks into the house.

Your Appa gets out of the car, helping Korain out of his carseat.

"I tried surprising you and getting them all but these two beat me to it" Bang chuckles and hugs you tightly.  "I came to see my favorite people"

"Halabeoji! Do you know the tomato song?" Eunjoo grins.

"I do not, should you teach me?" He winks at you as you usher everyone into the house.

"She is turning out to be as evil as you" Hobi says from the stairs, grinning.

"Me? Evil? Never" you bat your eyelashes at him before going into the living room with everyone else.

To your delight and the boys horror, the next hour is spent with the song on repeat while the kids dance to it until they're asleep on the floor, except for the 3 older ones.

"Eomma" Chaewon gets your attention.

"Yes?" You hand her a juice box and she takes a big sip of it before looking at Jin.

"Can i eat with Keun Appa today? Please~" she begs you, making you raise an eyebrow.

"Are you bringing back eat Jin today? After all this time?" You ask Jin to which he nods.

"It's up to you if you want the children to meet army.. the 3 oldest ones can handle it and i won't let them read any comments"

You look over at Jimin and Tae who both nod slowly.

"We can moderate comments if it eases your mind." Jimin smiles at you.

You look down at now 3 hopeful faces wanting to all be with him on "tv" as they call it.

"For a liittle bit. Not the whole thing" you pointedly look at Jin who nods.

"I wouldn't want our children hurt either, Nae Sarang" he cups your face before holding their hands and walking them to a back room.
