Delivering is Hard

"We barely did anything how did it work that fast?" Jimin looks absolutely panicked, frantically throwing on any clothes he finds.

"Maybe the other things finally worked as we tried?" Tae stares at the puddle forming around your legs.

Another contraction hits you, this time making you cry out. The door opens and Yoongi is there first. He takes one look at the scene and slaps the back of Tae's head.

"Snap out of it! Get her a dress and let's go!" Tae nods at Yoongi's words, grabbing a sun dress and helping you put it over your shoulders while you breathe through the pain from this last one.

"Hoseok, can you help me get Jimin to snap out of his panic?" Yoongi calls over his shoulder while he walks you out of the room.

You hear a faint slap and don't even have time to register because Jungkook sweeps you up bridal style and carries you to the car while Namjoon calls the doctor to instruct her it actually worked.

Jungkook gingerly sits you in the car before looking at his hyungs on what to do next.

"Ahh" you cry out as another one hits you.

"They're starting to come rather frequently" Namjoon calls from the phone, staring at you.

You laugh through the pain, mainly because they all look really panicked and scared right now and it's really sweet.

"I swear to god if Namjoon doesn't get in this car and gets me to the hospital you all will sleep alone for the next month" you grit through the excruciating pain. Namjoon is on the phone with the doctor so he wins.

Namjoon quickly scrambles into the seat beside you while everyone else gets into the van behind you.

The ride to the hospital is absolute hell. The bumps only spur on another contraction which makes you grip Namjoon's hand so tight you might break it.

He hangs up the phone and helps you with your breathing the whole way to the hospital.

When you get there, luckily no one knows you are meant to be there yet so no paparazzi.

Jungkook quickly pulls a wheelchair out and helps you into it before almost running i to the hospital and before you know it, you are on a bed being wheeled to the mother ward.

"Who is the father?" The nurse asks. You look at Tae and Jimin as they both speak up at the same time.

"Me" they say in unison.

She looks at you confused. Luckily your doctor runs into the hallway from her sprint upstairs and catches her breath.

"I'll explain just let them both in"

The nurse nods but ushers them in before closing the door.

You cry out as another contraction hits, this one more painful than the last.

"It shouldn't be too long now" the doctor says as they wheel you to the labor room. She hands Tae and Jimin both some scrubs that they quickly throw over their clothes, their eyes wide in panic.

"How many centimeters is she dilated?" The nurse asks so the doctor takes a peek and shakes her head.

"We need a couple more"

She places your legs in the stirrups while the boys both stand on either side of you. The grip your hand tightly, staring down at you with fond yet wide eyes.

"You're doing amazing jagi" Jimin whispers, brushing the sweaty hair off your forehead.

"Breathe" Tae imitates what you all learned in the classes a few weeks ago, making you laugh despite how severe the pain gets.

You grip their hands impossibly tighter as another one hits you, faster than the others. You scream as the pain hits you.

"They're getting quicker" the doctor checks you again. "Another centimeter to go"

"Please.. it hurts" you cry out, trying your best to breathe along with Tae.

"You want the medicine afterall?" The doctor looks at you and you nod frantically. She smiles and orders the nurse for a shot before helping you roll onto your side so she can inject your spine with the medicine.

It takes awhile before it kicks in but once it does you feel wonderful.

"Alright mommy, it's time to push" the doctor gets in position between your legs and you push as hard as you can. The feeling is both weird and surreal. "Good, again"

You push again, grunting as hard as you can as you push.

"Good, a little more i can see it breaching"

"You're so beautiful, aein" Tae whispers, wiping the sweat off your forehead with his free hand while Jimin is brushing the hair out of it.

You push once more and despite the meds you feel a new kind of pain rip through you as the doctor excitedly announces that the head is out.

"One more good push should do it" she smiles up at you and you push even harder, crying out as you do so. You are honestly afraid you may break their hands with how hard your gripping them.

"And it's the girl! Daddy, do you want to cut the cord?" She looks over at Jimin who releases your hand and walks over, his eyes gazing at his little girl as he carefully cuts the cord where the doctor instructs.

She's pulled away so they can clean her up and do everything necessary before handing the baby freshly bundled in a pink blanket over to Jimin.

"Ready to push some more? We need to get the little boy out"

You nod, the sweat pouring down your face as you grit your teeth and push some more. You feel totally exhausted but excited to see your other baby.

You gaze at Jimin, holding your little girl close and cooing at her soft face, holding her close.

You smile before whimpering in pain as you push hard again. The second one comes out easier because you push a little harder and the head already slips out. You take a deep breath and push once more before the doctor praises you for your good work.

"Good job mommy, daddy come cut the cord"

Tae nervously looks at you before nodding and walking over, repeating the same process as Jimin did and before you know it he's holding your son wrapped in a pretty blue blanket.

You watch both of them, staring down at their kids with stars in their eyes. You see Jimin's eyes well up with tears as the nurses take the kids from them so they can wheel you to the recovery room.

Everything is a blur then because of how exhausted you are. You look over at Jimin and Tae, who are comforting each other's tears. You smile softly.

"Rest, when you wake up you can see your babies" the doctor smiles at you and you fall right to sleep, so drained.
