The Truth Untold

D-Day part 2

The boys sit front row, pulling you with them.

The hearing starts as it usually does and you find yourself gripping Jimin's hand extremely tight as they call for Ji-Yoon and "Shin" (who's name you learn is really Lee Shou.)

Ji-Yoon walks in first, in handcuffs, escorted by a couple police officers. She takes one look at you and becomes wild.

"She can't have them! They're mine!" She shrieks, making the guards hold her even steadier.

Your Appa, who is taking the spot for you beside his lawyers, turns to look at you with a reassuring smile. You try to return it but your eyes lock with Shou's and you start to breathe heavier.

Memories of him touching your skin flood your mind. That nasty smile sneering at you while you cried and begged him not to touch you.

You don't realize you're crying until Jimin hands you a tissue. You wipe away your tears which only seems to make Shou smirk at you before winking at you. You shudder in fear and Jimin pulls you closer to him.

"You can do this, Jagi" his own voice falters and you realize he's scared too.

The hearing goes on, the lawyers doing their thing, and before you know it they call you to the stand.

You slowly rise, your legs shaking as you walk to the stand and sit down. You state your name and do all of the typical rituals before they start to ask you questions. Your Appas lawyer starts, and when he's finished their lawyer begins his questions.

"So how did you encounter my client?" Her lawyer questions.

"I met her at a photoshoot the boy- bts was at"

"Why were you there? At a celebrities photoshoot?"

"My Appa.. Bang Si-Hyuk, asked me to help Namjoon-ssi with English translations so he didn't have to work so hard for the interview"

"But they had my client, why did he need to hire you? Was it favoritism because you are his daughter?"

"No, sir. She was let go because of sexual harassment"

"Sexual harassment on who?"

You grit your teeth, trying to hold onto your anger.

Now is not the time for you to act up, ptsd. You silently scold yourself.

"She came onto some of the members, they told me and Bang-Ssi themselves. They even had proof and she admitted it"

"When she saw you doing her job that she loved very much, with the boys she loved very much, wouldn't you say she was upset? Would she have in fact, felt like you stole her job from her?"

"She didn't and doesn't love them" you spit out in anger before you can control it. You meet Jimin's eyes and he mouths "stay calm" at you.

"Objection, your honor. What does wether or not either person loves anyone have to do with the crimes we are here to investigate?" Your Appa's lawyer stands up.

"Noted, get on with the questions"

Ji-Yoon's lawyer grimaces but soldiers on.

"Would you say you are a forgetful person, Miss Bang?"

"No. I'm not." You glare daggers at the lawyer, knowing exactly where he is going with this.

"So you remember every exact detail of the what-" he looks at the file. "2 months you say you were held by my clients?"

"No. Nobody could remember every detail of a period that long" you grit your teeth harder and make eye contact with your boys over the lawyers shoulder. Yoongi, Namjoon and Hobi all have their jaws clenched, the latter holding Jimin from jumping out of his seat. Jungkook and Tae are in tears while they watch.
