"Pops.. Momma's cryin' again" Hitoshi sighed walking further into the fields to meet his father.

"Is she? Dang, I'll be right there" He exhaled sharply tugging his gloves off. "Think you can both handle this?" Kita asked looking at both Hitoshi and Aran.

"Yeah, you go check on 'er" Aran encouraged him.

Kita nodded and walked off the fields.

"It's (Y/n) right?" Aran asked as he continued to skim the muddy soils for snake "that why she was cryin?"

"I dunno, Rintaro told me on the way here" Hitoshi frowned beginning to work alongside his brother.

He didn't see his mom cry so this definitely made him really sad.

"It doesn't make sense... how could she just go missin' like that?" Aran asked.

"Ion know but pops is hidin' somethin' if you ask me" Hitoshi paused. "Think we should ask?"

"He ain't gonna tell us" Aran deadpanned

"What do you reckon we do then?"

"Let's ask 'round the village. N' maybe if we follow him to sell the harvest next we can ask around there!" Aran beamed as his brother nodded in agreement.

"Smart idiot" Hitoshi chuckled

"'Least i ain't Atsumu" Aran mumbled and they both started laughing.

"Hey I'm tellin'" Hitoshi laughed.

"Yeah yeah...let's finish up and get inside." Aran smiled getting back to work

Meanwhile...

"Sara.." Kita started as he dropped his hat on the table walking towards his wife who sat on the chair in the living room.

"I'm so sorry shinsuke...i- i said i wouldn't cry" she started to sob once again "but this is just.."

"Calm down.. calm down" he soothed rubbing her back in a circular motion.

"I just got word from town square." She tried controlling her breathing. "The or-orphanage...they burnt it down" she finally managed to let out.

Kita's breath hitched. Burnt down? That doesn't seem right.

"I...what? I was told they relocated" Kita said. "I was goin there tomo-"

"No...they burnt it down"

"Now what would they do that?" He asked atarting to panick a little.

"They were selling" she choked, putting a hand on her chest "they sold her, they sold the children Shin-"

"No" he stood up. "It's not true"

"Words the going around town" she started again.

"No"

She sighed putting a hand on her puffy face, her husband always got like this when he was in denial.

"I'm going out" Kita sighed darting towards the door.

"Shinsuke it's late" she called out after him

"So you want me to stand 'ere not knowin' where our lil girl is?" He yelled.

"M-momma?" Osamu called from the corridor.

"'Samu... I'll be right there" she sighed turning back to her son plastering a fake smile onto her face.

Shinsuke stormed out of the house while Osamu went back upstairs. He was the smart twin and he started to catch on.
