The picture was from last night. You could see Kyle waiting by the door while I unlocked it. The image was slightly dark, but you could easily distinguish the wavy brown hair from a woman, aka me. Thankfully, the picture only captured my back but, I'm sure anyone that knew me would be able to tell who the person was.

I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. I wasn't going to regret last night but looking at the consequences in front of me it was getting harder by the minute. Had I just done the stupidest thing of the year? Without thinking, I opened my door and knocked on Kyle's.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting to achieve but maybe if he saw this, he would help me?

Soon enough the door opened, but before I could speak, Kyle lifted his finger in a motion that said wait and so I did.

"There's a reason I have that clause in my contract," Kyle argued angrily to the person on the other end of the line. There was a small pause before he added. "This needs to get off the internet now! There's too much at risk and you know it." I could tell he was becoming more frustrated by the minute.

I remembered him telling me he had a no media clause in his contract which meant no pictures, no interviews, basically, he was looking for anonymity or at least as much as he could get.

"I don't care! Just fix this!" he continued probably angry the other person didn't understand the gravity of this situation. After this, it wasn't long before the conversation ended.

"I guess you saw the tabloids?" I assumed.

"Yeah, Samuel just texted me to turn on my TV. This is a nightmare," he sighed "I'm sorry I got you mixed up in all of this. Are you okay?" he asked, genuinely concerned. He walked towards me and placed a reassuring hand on my arm. Yesterday I probably would have moved away from his touch as a precaution but considering what happened in the early hours, it really wouldn't make any sense. His touch was comforting, making my earlier anger and nervousness leave the pores of my skin.

"I'm just worried about my place in the squad," I admitted.

His hand now moved up and down along my arm. I know it was meant to be calming and I know the situation was completely wrong for this but damn he was making me horny as fuck.

"If it makes you feel any better, I doubt anyone can recognize you in the picture, it's dark enough to not decipher anything other than your long brown hair." His voice was soft and his touch warm on my naked skin. All I wanted to do was reach up for his neck and bring his head down for a kiss. To get busy under the sheets and forget about this possible disaster. But there was simply too much to do today to allow me this pleasure. Didn't you say it was only going to be a one-time thing? Changing your mind already?

"Coach has examined us from head to toes more times than I can count, if anyone can recognize me in that picture it would be her," I sighed defeatedly. "I need to go back Sandra has me crumbling under work," I continued.

Surprisingly, before I could detach myself from him, he bent his neck slightly and placed a chaste kiss on my forehead.

"It's going to be fine," he tried soothing "I'll try my best to fix this."

I hope he was right.

Once I finally made it back to my apartment and was seated comfortably on my bed with my laptop open, and paperwork spread all over me, I tried working on the new project Sandra needed. The keyword in that sentence being 'tried'. My thought kept drifting away to my neighbor and how he had been behaving all day. Whether it was before I left this morning or when I dropped by later.

I knew this was a one-time thing and only a means to an end. Simply to get him out of my system like Marketa had suggested. Yeah right, keep telling yourself that.
