"I can't believe I offered to do this," Kyle said as he ran his hand in his disheveled hair.
After our argument the other night, Kyle recognized he hadn't been fair towards me and apologized. He even accepted to take me up on the dance classes I had offered up in the past. So here we were, walking towards the studio. I was excited about this and despite Kyle's reluctant front, I knew my eagerness was contagious.
"You'll love it! Plus, there's someone there who has been dying to meet you," I added looking at him with a devilish smile.
"I'm not sure I like that look," he answered, making me laugh. I didn't know what Sylvia would do but I was sure of one thing. It would be priceless.
"Sylvia!" I called out once we entered the studio. She was standing near the entrance rearranging the flyers on the stand.
"Darling! It's been such a long time..." she started before noticing Kyle "Oh my and who do we have here?" she said shamelessly placing her hand on his abs before giving me an approving nod. I bit my tongue to silence the chuckle that had started leaking out of my mouth.
"This is Kyle," I said trying to keep a straight face "the guy..."
"The guy your banging in the next-door apartment, yes I remember my dear," she finished with a smile. Kyle cleared his throat, clearly taken off guard by the straightforwardness of Sylvia.
"It's nice to meet you, Sylvia," he politely greeted.
"You know handsome, if you ever need a little extra fun, you can always meet me here, " she suggested adding a wink for good measure while Kyle stood still as it took him a few seconds to realize what she was insinuating.
"Alright then, time for us to head to the studio otherwise we'll never get to dance," I intervened, saving him from any more awkwardness.
I turned around just in time to see her mimicking a blowjob with her tongue and her hand. My head snapped back as I burst out laughing.
"I don't think I even want to know," Kyle admitted while a smile grew on his face.
"Sylvia what are you doing?" I caught the little girl ask innocently.
"Nothing my dear, I think I might have something stuck between my teeth that's all," she lied smoothly.
The dance lesson went smoothly. We didn't take it too seriously and spent most of the time laughing at Kyle's messiness. He was a prodigy in football but he couldn't put a foot in front of the other in rhythm even if his life depended on it. In the end, he took a seat on the floor as I showed him the latest solo I had been working on.
His eyes twinkled with amazement and pride which only egged me further. Dancing for a single person was much different to a crowd, it immediately felt more intimate.
The entire day had been fun and laid-back, and I couldn't remember the last time I had felt this good with a man. That thought alone kept a smile on my face.

As I laid in bed after another mind-blowing round of sex, I couldn't help my mind from wandering the darker parts of my brain. The home of self-doubt and insecurities. I loved every moment I spent with Kyle. I couldn't help replaying the past few weeks in my head. Despite wanting to stay away from Kyle, I was drawn to him like a magnetic pull that refused for us to stray away from each other.
The more I spent time with him and the more I discovered different parts of him. I met his amazing family and discovered more common traits between the two of us. I felt the corner of my mouth lift just thinking about the times we spent laughing together in his flat. I loved how he had willingly taken some time to learn a few dance moves despite knowing he lacked coordination.
