I sat on the couch. My sisters had their friends over so they were gossiping as usual. I flipped through the book I had in my hands, waiting for my dad. I was supposed run an errand for him as the upcoming alpha. I sighed. How slow could he get?
My dad FINALLY came downstairs before I died. But just as he came, Miranda opened the front door. She smiled when she saw my face. I cringed as Miranda ran to me and hugged me. She blushed slightly as I laughed nervously. I stepped back and she pouted, "Why aren't you hugging me?"
"I found my mate."
"So we're done playing?"
I nodded, "Caio."
