I drove home quietly, tapping on the steering wheel in a pattern. I hummed along to the song that was playing on the radio. Trumpets by Jason Darulo. I smiled, it reminds me of Kandy. Kandy. Yes, I would like to see her. I turned the car around and made other cars screech. I smiled nervously at the drivers. Singing along to the song in my horrible voice, I drove to Kandy's house.
I pulled up into Kandy's driveway. I walked up to the front door and rang the door bell. No answer. Frowning, I pushed the button again several times. The door swung open and Kandy blushed at the sight of me. I blushed in return. Kandy was wearing her swimsuit and she was dripping wet with a towel draped around her shoulders. Her hair hang down loose and tangled with the wetness. I grinned. She looked amazing.
"Hi Sam."
"Kandy..we're you swimming?"
"Who is it?" I heard a girl yell. Kandy threw her head back and yelled, "My boyfriend!"
I smiled. My boyfriend. I was her boyfriend. I like the sound of that. Kandy laughed and held her hand out to me, "Come swim with us."
I took her hand, it was dry but warm and sweaty.
"I didn't bring a swimsuit."
The girl with blonde hair and glasses waved at me, "You can borrow my boyfriend's swimsuit. He left it here."
I saw Kandy raise her eyebrows, "Alex is too skinny." She scrunched up her nose and I smiled, "No thanks, I'll just wear my shorts."
When we got to the pool, the girl with the short brown hair waved and whistled, "Kandy, you got lucky, he's smoking hot!"
I heard Kandy's soft laughter, "Shut up, Foxxy."
The blonde girl turned to me, "I'm Strider."
Kandy nodded, "They're my older sisters."
Kandy swam over to me slowly, "So why are you here again?"
I touched her hair and pulled her close to me, "I just really wanted to see you."
"Mmm."
"So this house looks like someone important owns it."
She playfully punched me and laughed, "What are you talking about? My family is very important! My dad is the alpha!"
I looked at her in surprise, "Oh! I thought your family was ordinary."
"What about yours?"
"I'm the upcoming alpha." I replied with a smirk.
She sighed, "We have no heir. We're all girls. They won't make a son."
I chuckled and Foxxy swam over, "Stop flirting!"
Strider giggled, "I'm bored! Let's have a swimming contest. Winner gets a date with Kandy."
I jumped, "I'm in!"
Kandy nodded, "Me too!"
Foxxy laughed, "You can't join, idiot. You're the prize."
Kandy pouted, "Can't I go on a date with myself?"
Foxxy rolled her eyes, "You're hoping Sam wins."
I grinned, "I will win."
Strider laughed, "Don't get your hopes up!"
As we swam, Kandy sat beside the pool and cheered me on.
She made me want to win and have me more strength. I swam with all my might.
I won. I laughed. I won. Kandy jumped in and threw her arms around me, "You won, bae!"
I grinned at her choice of words again. Bae.
