When you buy an outfit for you to wear but it's either a dress size too small or a dress size too big, you wear one look your slimmest.
Buying clothes should mean that you buy them to fit the size you are now, rather than what will fit you in the future.
There are many different reasons why people keep items of clothing that no longer fit them: as diet inspiration, laziness, because they believe that it's something that they "should own" and should have in their wardrobe....the list goes on!
But you should learn that keeping clothes that no longer serves its purpose is irrelevant and rather silly because you won't be getting any good out of it.
Keeping clothes that don't fit your size is utterly stupid. It should never be done. You should only own clothes that fit you in that exact moment of owning them.
Another reason for getting rid of clothes that no longer fit you is if you find it difficult to choose what to wear in the mornings. Because when you own clothes that no longer fit, there will be more of a debate of what to wear when choosing everyday and you will be distracted from wearing the better items. And if you want to wear clothes that are too big or too small for you: you will also have to pay the price for it because it doesn't look nice. Let me explain....
If you wear clothes that are too big for you, it won't give you a good shape and it will make you at least five pounds heavier than your actual weight.
Clothes that are too big for you are shapeless and they will look enormous on your figure as they will practically be hanging on your body by a loose thread. So make sure that you try clothes on and get yourself measured properly so that you don't make the mistake of wearing over-sized garments.Buying clothes that are too small for you will also give you the same effect as if you were buying clothes that are too big: because the clothes will be hugging all the wrong places on your body, thus making you look even heavier than you already are.
Some women might be convinced to buy something that's too small for them in order to get their weight loss act together. But even if you buy something that's a dress size or two smaller for "weight loss goals" it's still wrong. But what these women seem to forget about is that what happens if your lifestyle changes? You could become pregnant and gain lots of weight and not be able to fit into a small pair of jeans that you thought you would have. Or your style could change entirely by the time you can fit into the jeans. Or your whole body could be a different shape so even buying clothes as a sort of "push" to be a specific size is wrong and shouldn't be done....ever!
