Have you ever noticed that when someone tucks their shirt into their jeans, they tend to look ten times better? Well, that's because they've mastered the art of tucking....
There are a few different ways that you can tuck your shirt or blouse into your jeans, but my favourite is the half-tuck and is the type of tuck that I am going to be sharing with you in this chapter.
The basic description of the "half-tuck" method is that you tuck one part of the front of your shirt into your jeans in an effortless way. There. It's as simple as that. But there's more to it than that.
Because you need to understand why.
Why do you want to learn about tucking?
Why should you tuck?
What even is the point in tucking anyway?Well lucky for you, I am going to cover all the ifs buts and maybes of the half-tucking method in this chapter of my ebook. So tuck in your shirt, sit comfortably and listen carefully.
This whole ebook was designed by myself to inspire women from all around the world to look and feel their best, and one of the ways of doing that is by styling yourself slimmer.
I'm not saying that looking a little heavier is bad, because it's not. But what I'm saying is that in order to feel good about yourself, you should be finding all the ways that you could possibly feel better about yourself.
A lot of the time, when women are asked how they could feel better about themselves and their bodies, they say that they would be happier if they looked thinner. (I am also guilty for saying this!)But if the opportunity is there for you to be happier, wouldn't you take it?
Your stomach is the place on the body where women tend to feel the most insecure. They don't realise what their stomach does for them because they only see what they want to see.
But in fact, your stomach does so much for you, a lot more than you would realise: it digests food, fights against any illnesses, gathers information from the brain, reduces stress, makes you fall in love with food and helps you to live a happy, fulfilled and healthy life. Isn't that amazing?!
So why on earth would you put your body and stomach alone through the pressure and torture of starving yourself just because you want to look a certain way.In my opinion, you should accept yourself just the way you are so that you can live your life and you won't have the pressure of hurting yourself.
Try and work with what you have and don't punish your body and stomach in any way. Instead, learn the art of tucking to feel and look better, without punishing your body in the process. This is where fashion and styling come in.I find it amazing how you can look a certain way purely through how you choose to dress and style yourself. You don't even need to cut out your guilty pleasures!
When you choose the half-tuck method, you will really notice the difference that it makes to your whole outlook. The method helps with hiding your stomach, which is especially good for those women who carry a lot of extra fat around that area. And whilst hiding your stomach, the half-tuck can also make your legs look luscious and elongated. Which is an extra bonus!
You will gain more confidence as you will be able to see that you look slightly more leaner, therefore, you will look and act more confident towards other people.
And you don't have to feel limited to what pieces you can tuck-in, because you can practically tuck just about anything into your jeans which I think is such a cool thing. So this means that you can tuck: knitted wear, plain shirts, floating midis and so much more into your neat pair of jeans. So there's nothing off-limits where tucking is concerned.
If you want a more casual look, you can also try out a pencil skirt and a shirt. This look won't look basic at all: as you will look trendy, classy and casual all at the same time!
And as long as you do the tucking method properly, you won't look silly in the slightest!
