When you want to look thinner and more of an hourglass shape, you should definitely stock up on the peplums.
Incase you don't know, peplums are a type of garment that you can wear that cinches in at the waist and gives you more of an hourglass shape.You can get peplum styles in lots of different ways: peplum dresses, peplum tops, peplum skirts, peplum cardigans....you name it!
So don't feel that peplums wouldn't go with your style because I can guarantee that there will be something peplum out there that you can enjoy.Since peplum items give off the illusion of an hourglass shape, (cinches in at the waist and creates a fuller, proportional figure which replicates the hourglass shape) you not only look great, but you also feel great too!
No matter what body shape you have, you can still participate in the peplum trend! It doesn't matter if you have an inverted triangle shape or a pear body shape, because wearing a peplum can help to balance any body shape out and it adds a bit of femininity to your look.
It also doesn't matter what sort of style you have, (classy, girly, tomboyish, etc.) because like I mentioned earlier.... everyone can wear peplums no matter what.For a casual look, wear a peplum top and red flare pants. These two items go well together and can be used for going out to a lunch date with friends or even to a casual meeting.
If you want a more relaxed style: go for peplum tops and a pencil skirt, (I promise you won't regret it!)But you've got to make sure that you style your peplums properly. When worn properly, peplums can look really pretty and create a great feminine silhouette. Your waist will be well-defined and the rest of your body nicely curved. But when worn incorrectly, it can make you look huge and will look disgusting on you. You will look like you've gained a lot of fat around your hips and you won't look thinner in the slightest, (which is the main goal of this ebook.)
And like I mentioned earlier, peplums are great because any body shape, size or height can pull off peplums, so don't feel that because you aren't naturally an hourglass shape you can't wear this style.
Peplums, in my opinion, are probably the best type of garment that will make you look like you've shed a few pounds.
And when you are a body shape like the inverted triangle or the pear, you will want to replicate the hourglass shape as much as possible, as that's what's considered to be the most "feminine" and "sexy" body shape of them all!Peplums can also make really quick and simple outfits, especially when paired with the likes of: jeans, heels, sneakers, skinny jeans, ripped jeans, lots of types of skirts and trousers. But my personal favourite is a peplum top paired with a classy pencil skirt.... 'cause if that doesn't call out "style icon", I don't know what else will.
