Age 6

Tenko was playing on the swings at the playground at school slowly swinging back and forth until a young girl came up to him and pushed him off.

"H-Hey... what did y-you do that for.." Tenko asked as the girl got on the swing.

"This is my swing your not aloud to play on it!" She yelled "b-but" before Tenko could respond he was kicked in the face by the girl swinging giving him a bloody nose and teary eyes.

"O-ok" he said struggling to get up, he ran away before he could be kicked again.

Tenko sat under a tree wiping his tears and blood off his nose, everyday was the same, get up go to school get bullied finish school and go home, he never knew why he was bullied or why people hated him, he just knew they did.

He cried more not being able to feel his noes, he hated school he didn't want to go anymore something always happened no matter what he did to stop it.

"Hey are you ok?" A small red haired boy said kneeling in front of him.

"Mhm" Tenko responded crying he didn't want to scare the other boy so he covered his face with his hands.

"Here I'll go tell a teacher I'll be right back" the red head said.

"No!" Tenko yelled as the other boy stopped "what?" The other boy asked.

"Uh i'm ok I promise nothings wrong!" Tenko said as the other male walked back

"Are you sure?" The boy asked Tenko nodded smiling at him "ok...".

"Anyways I'm Touya your Tenko right?" Touya asked Tenko nodded in response "now" he paused sitting down next to him "what's wrong" he asked.

"That girl kicked me..." Tenko said shyly pointing at the girl who kicked him Touya looked at the girl.

"Her?" Touya asked, Tenko nodded slightly.

Tenko watched as the other boy walked up to the girl and yelled at her for hurting him, Tenko didn't know why but in that moment he felt safe and loved like it wasn't just his stuffed toys that liked him.

Touya walked back over to Tenko "there she won't be bullying you anymore, and hey let's be friends!" Touya said.

Age 11

"Hey nerd" a older boy said Tenko looked at him curiously knowing he was talking to him.

"Your so ugly how do you have friends!" He laughed at Tenko.

This had no effect on Tenko he was just sitting there as they laughed.

"Don't talk to my friend that way" Touya said coming up behind the older boy.

Tenko felt bad, felt bad for Touya, felt bad that he had to deal with his bullies every time they picked on him, he felt bad that Touya usually ended up going to the principal's office and getting blamed knowing it was 3 against 1, he didn't want him to get in trouble he hated when Touya got in trouble for something that was his fault.

Touya would always brush it off but Tenko never could.

"I'm sorry for earlier again" Tenko said to Touya.

"No need I'll help you any time you need even if it gets me in trouble" Touya said confidentiality.

"Yeah but you shouldn't have to deal with them you get in trouble for something I did!" Tenko fought back "hey Ten it's not your fault it never has been there just scum bags!" Touya said smiling.

"...yeah, thank you for the help your the best friend I could ever have" Tenko said sweetly.

Age 15

As Touya walked through the halls with his friend Tenko he couldn't help but admire him, Tenko was the only friend that stayed with him throughout everything, he was just so perfect there was no reason for him to be bullied but he was and Touya promised to himself that he would protect Tenko.

"What class do you have next?" Tenko asked "oh uh art, you?" Touya replied.

"Yes, we have the same class!" Tenko said overjoyed he got to spend more time with his friend.

Class started and we had to do a group project, but the best part was, we got to pick our partners.

Touya and Tenko obviously were in a group but there had to be groups of three and the girl that was put into there group (because neither of them wanted another partner) just so happened to be Tenko's bully but she had a crush on Touya it was obvious that she liked him and both Touya and Tenko hated her.

"Ohh Touya what a surprise we're in a group together" she said leaning on Touya.

"Uh yeah...I guess, anyways Ten when can we meet up to do the project" Touya asked the girl looked at Tenko with a disgusted look on her face.

"I'm free tonight and most nights!" Tenko responded.

"Great I'll pick you up tonight"

Age 19

Tenko and Touya decided not to go to college and decided to live together, they acted like a married couple and many homophobic people would yell at them for being gay they then had to explain that they were just friends. (Mhm yeah sure)

Tenko didn't know why but every time Touya said that they were 'just friends' it made his heart hurt but he never said anything.

They loved spending time with each other but the tension every time they started to talk about anything close to love was unbearable.

"Hey Ten!" Touya yelled as he was about to make dinner.

"Yes hun!" Tenko yelled back making Touya stop for a second.

After Touya didn't respond Tenko went down stairs to see what was happening.

"Did you hear me?" Tenko asked.

"Yeah yeah I heard you but uh why did you call me hun?" Touya asked with a light pink on his cheeks.

"O-oh I did I'm sorry I didn't realize anyways what did you want" Tenko said blushing.

"Uh what do you want for dinner" Touya asked "anything is fine by me!" Tenko said smiling sweetly.

"Ok then" Touya said.
