lyla's pov

*it was the shift off for jay was at work i told him i was pregnant just a few hours ago i was 9 weeks jay was shocked but to be honest i dont know what he wants , i heard the door burst open a man white male green eyes , he has a weird flag tattoo on his arm just stabbed me in the stomach and left , i called jay in pain i dont know what happened i black out maybe i felt dizzy *

jay's pov

*i saw lyla laying n a pool of blood i was scared ,scared to death my girl my child what would i do if they die and i know me and lyla have dated for only 6 months that child is mine and i love him/her *

me: hailey: call 911

hailey: already did i called voight asked for a crime lab

me: stay with baby stay with me , hailey how long?, her vitals are dropping

hailey: 2 mins

*voight arrived*

voight: what the hell happened

me: she called in pain we went in there uh found her stabbed not responsive, sarg she's pregnant 

voight: jay come on move aside she's be okay 

me: sarg 

voight: i know, i know you two are a thing ,i know that and its okay i trust you with her and we will find who stabbed her okay? but u need to calm down and be there for her go with the ambo

me: yes sarg

*i got into the ambo with  lyla soon we arrived at med will was her doc*

me: will you save her will you do everything to save her 

will: i know jay i know you love her but ill try my best i cant promise anything

will: i have to treat her jay

me: she's pregnant

*a state of shock and horror came across wills face *

will: maggie take him out 

me: will please

will: we are taking her to surgery things are not good

voight's pov

BACK AT THE BULLPEN

me: okay i have informed  chief boden , lyla Helmen 23 captain of truck 81 EMT in 51 , she's one of us one of the first responders , someone attacked her attacked us attacked me cuz ive been taking care of this girl since she was 15, so we find out what happened to her

adam: where is jay?

haiely: at the hospital with lyla, his girlfriend pregnant with his child stabbed in the stomach 

kevin: i got something 

voight: go on

kevin: lyla has cctv footage in her appartment at 2:52 this man broke the door of her house u can see lyla behind the door , her instantly stabbed her and ran , you can see he's white 6'2 at most looks in his 20's facial rec. can not find anyone,

al: uh the crime lab has found prints on the knife that was in lyla they match to some one named louis danwil

voight: find out about him find connections between him and lyla 

*chief boden arrives *

me: chief

boden: do you people have anything

me: we have a lead how is lyla doing?

boden: not good still in surgery 

me: jay? he's still here

boden: wreck he's a wreck he has his head in his hands worried look keeps saying to will save them both

me: lyla is pregnant 9 weeks approx.

boden: oh, 51 is there with jay we will keep you updated

me: so will we

boden: thank you sarg an attack on one of us is an attack on every single one of us

me: of course 

*boden leaves*

kim: ive got a lead, louis danwil, has a house on 68th riverbed road 

me: lets hit it
